At 44 years old, Ben was born and grew up in the Hertfordshire town of Ware. Educated at Priors Wood School (Ware) and Simon Balle School (Hertford), He left the University of Hertfordshire in 2002 with a Diploma in Sports Management.
Ben is a keen sportsman and has grown up participating and enjoying the benefits of both elite and recreational
Sport. He managed to represent Hertfordshire in every sport in which he participated, up to the age of 18 and beyond in the cases of Basketball and Cricket.
He has over 22 years' experience within Sports & Community Development and Educational environments, as a Local Government and National Governing Body Development Manager, Extended Services Cluster Manager, Qualified Sports Coach, locally trained QiSS Critical Friend, Apprentice and Coach Education Tutor/Assessor.
Ben has worked in a variety of environments, including Schools, Children's Centres, Local Community Partners &
