A key driving force behind the company's success in the primary and secondary education sector, Alex helped SSUK enter this market and has been pivotal in keeping us at the forefront of it.
Decades of experience help Alex specify the right solutions for his customers, whether that's in the education, fitness or corporate sector.
Friendly and knowledgeable in and out of work, Alex has a wide social circle and loves catching up with friends and family.
Allan is one of our longest serving employees. Up until 2015 Allan was one of our senior installation engineers before moving into the sales department.
His knowledge of the practicalities of installations and his excellent customer service skills make him a great Account Manager. Allan has a wide variety of clients; from primary and secondary education to the leisure market. Allan loves to stay involved in projects from concept to completion, making sure the job gets finished to an exacting standard.
Whether it's interactive touchscreens or audio solutions, Allan will work tirelessly to make sure that his customers' needs are met. He routinely goes above and beyond to make sure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
Away from his day job, Allan is the unofficial and joint social convener for the company - all the best Christmas nights out are arranged by Allan and Jen!
A keen and successful footballer back in the day, Allan still turns out for his beloved "old crocks" team every Sunday - although by his own admission he's spending less and less time on the pitch and more and more time recovering!
Allan spends much of his time in the SSUK workshop, ensuring all of our products are in the best condition possible. He also assists the SSUK logistics team.
Allan enjoys the variety of his work - every day is a new challenge. Outside of work, Allan enjoys cycling and is a keen golfer.
Helen looks after the service engineers, making sure workloads are arranged and that everyone has what they need. She is also a main point of contact for our clients, ensuring all calls and emails are answered in line with our commitment to customer service excellence.
Helen enjoys holidays abroad, theatre and concerts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jen is the lead Service Co-ordinator, working hard to make sure that our clients projects have the right installation teams allocated - where and when our clients need it. Ably flanked by Sinead,and Helen who help manage the ever-changing demands of our projects.
A chatty and friendly office, this is where everyone stops to talk and catch-up when they get the chance. Along with Allan, Jen is the joint social convener for the company - all the best Christmas nights out are arranged by them both!
John works to ensure the smooth delivery of installations, from assigning the correct engineers to the job to liaising with our clients to ensure smooth delivery.
The variety of the work and tech is what John enjoys the most about his role at SSUK. This keeps things interesting - he has been with us for 17 years!
Outside of work, John loves spending time with his family and is currently working on a complete home renovation.
Every day is different when working at SSUK, and this is what Kal likes the most about being part of the team.
When he's not carrying out installations, Kal enjoys hiking and travelling with his girlfriend and dog.
Keith has been with SSUK for over 15 years and has guided the company from being a small installer of projectors and screens in the leisure market to the multimillion-pound company we are today.
Focussing on the financial and operations side of the business, Keith's calm, people-centric approach and strategic vision has helped SSUK grow year-on-year.
When not at the helm of SSUK, Keith enjoys woodwork and DIY.
Kris has a great eye for detail. He ensures that the installation of sound systems, projectors, video conferencing systems and all of the other technology we offer is installed to our very high standards.
Working at SSUK means Kris' skills and knowledge of the tech is always up to date, and he enjoys travelling across the country to client sites.
Outside of work, Kris enjoys time with his daughter and going to the football.
Martin carries out surveys, creates technical schematics and assists with system design when needed.
With 16 years in the AV industry, he describes SSUK as the best company he's worked for because of the family vibe and the way the company looks after its team.
Outside of work he has recently taken up running.
Paul is responsible for problem-solving AV systems, diagnosing and determining the best way to restore faulty systems to full functionality. He also programmes systems to be as accessible and resilient as possible.
Paul takes pride in taking on difficult challenges, in order to deliver the best product experience to the client. Besides work, Paul enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking and gaming.
Paul's job is to ensure that all of our tech keeps working. He assists clients who have reported difficulties, and works with our install teams to make sure that any installation niggles are ironed out.
Every day is different at SSUK, and this is what Paul enjoys, along with the continual learning that being at the cutting edge of AV tech brings.
In his time outside of work, Paul enjoys catching up with the latest technology news, dining with his family, and has recently started building his first outdoor deck.
Rachel heads up her team of 3. Invaluable experience within the corporate banking sector in her previous roles means she's helped guide the company expertly on this recent period of growth.
Ronald has been with SSUK for more than 16 years. He oversees our entire Service Team and works tirelessly to ensure every customer has a positive experience from our onsite teams.
A true passion for our industry, Ronald is super knowledgeable on all aspects of AV but has a particularly strong knowledge and track record in audio.
His AV solutions are creative, great value and routed in technology that's proven to last.
A brilliant technical and process-driven mind keeps the large and ever-growing service team running smoothly.
Scott is well known and respected throughout the industry. Scott's great vision, eye for detail and strong project management skills means the digital signage, architectural lighting and large-scale LED projects he's involved in are eye-catching and well executed.

Specialising in large scale roll-outs of technology across entire local authority education estates, Scott's strategic planning and enduring relationships lead to great outcomes for clients and their wider stakeholders.
Away from the office Scott is passionate about supercars and is often found tackling a home renovation project. Spending time with family and friends is his favourite way to unwind after work.
Committed to designing systems that match his customer's expectations is one of Simon's key skills. A wide and varied client and product set keeps Simon involved with virtually all aspects of AV including video conferencing, digital signage and complex room designs.
Professional, conscientious and dedicated to staying up to date with emerging technologies, when Simon isn't in front of his laptop or clients he loves travelling, exercise and food.
Sinead maskes sure that we are all sorted on the installation side of things - she makes arrangements with clients for installations and makes sure our engineers always have the most up to date training available. This helps keep us at the cutting edge.
The people Sinead works with are the best part of the job for her, and outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as weekends away.
