The Bristol Short Story Prize is an international writing competition based in Bristol, UK, which aims to publish great short stories and promote the stories and writers as much as possible. Discovering previously unpublished writers is central to our aims and we are absolutely committed to celebrating the short story form and making it accessible and available to as wide an audience as we can... The Bristol Short Story Prize is a writing competition that publishes great short stories and promote writers... We are in advanced discussions with a Bristol-based organisation steeped in creative writing and literary culture who will, hopefully, become the official new home of a revamped Bristol Short Story Prize later this year. They have the resources and scope to build and develop BSSP and take the competition forward.
