Diane Shaw

I graduated from the Nottingham School of Physiotherapy, have worked in the NHS for over 25 years and have a special interest in Orthopaedics and shoulder pathologies. For the last seventeen years I have worked in the Rehabilitation centre at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth as a Senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. I have also worked in the private sector at The Spire, Southampton and for a year overseas in New Zealand. I joined LBhealthcare in 2009. Outside work I enjoy the outdoor life and a range of sporting activities including tennis. and belong to local gym. I am a keen netballer, playing with a successful premier league team in Southampton. I am married to Kevin, who works at Dorset Orthopaedics, Ringwood making and fitting fitting artificial limbs.

Felicia Fetcu

I am the LBhealthcare Deputy Team Leader. I qualified as a physiotherapist in Portugal, from Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão, in 2018. Soon after, I gained clinical experience working in private practice and later with a local rugby club in S. João do Estoril. My desire to expand my horizons and career opportunities led me to move to England in 2019. In 2021, I was offered the amazing opportunity to join LBhealthcare and here I am!

Before joining LBhealthcare, I worked for the NHS as part of a specialist neuro rehab team for 20 years. Irena Stefan

Job Titles:

I qualified as a physiotherapist in Lithuania in 2015 with honours, following which I gained clinical experience working within the National Health System outpatients practice in Poland. Later I followed in the footsteps of my husband and moved to the UK in 2016. I have 3 years of clinical experience working in the private MSK outpatient setting, specialising last year in Paediatrics and Adolescents within the NHS. This has enabled me to manage various complex musculoskeletal, sport injuries and paediatric conditions. I offer my clients an holistic approach to treatment including manual therapy, trigger point massage, deep soft tissue massage, muscle energy technique, rehabilitation and ergonomics together with lifestyle advice. I believe that every individual deserves the right to have the best treatment on offer to return them to full function in the shortest possible time, regardless of age or ability. I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a member of Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (SCPC).

Jack Mitchell

I graduated from Plymouth University in 2015 with a BSc Hons in physiotherapy and have worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist within Southern Health Foundation Trust since graduating. I enjoy most sports, participating and as a spectator especially football and rugby. I have played football and rugby for local teams. I attend a local gym and boxing club and enjoy music and films.

Neil Duncan

Hello, my name is Neil and I am LBhealthcare's Sports Therapist. I initially graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Science (Outdoor Activities). Over the last 13 years I have worked in the outdoor sport industry as a high-end white water kayak and canoe coach. I am passionate about weightlifting and training and have completed my Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer Qualifications. Deciding to return to Sports Therapy last year I achieved an MSc Sports Therapy with distinction. I enjoy a challenge and am currently working towards my Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coaching qualification. You will see that I enjoy being active, whilst this has been mostly through outdoor sports such as climbing, kayaking, snowboarding and mountain biking, most recently I have been focussed and humbled by training and competing in the sport of CrossFit. Fundamentally, I believe that getting people moving, exercising, or training in whatever they enjoy is key to a healthy life and a huge part of life in general. I love working with people, so if you need rehabilitation as a result of injury or would just like some guidance on how to achieve your goals then I hope that you will enjoy working with me to get you doing the things that you love!

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2015 in Romania and decided to pursue a career in Physiotherapy in the UK following an outstanding summer placement at a private Physiotherapy Clinic in Ipswich. I have worked in the NHS since 2017. Over the last 4 years I have developed the skills and competence to carry out complex physiotherapy assessments, to formulate a diagnosis and a treatment plan whilst working as an autonomous practitioner. My training and practice have helped me develop a strong foundation of physiotherapy skills including advanced physical examination, manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. I use these skills to provide a high standard of care to my clients. In my daily practice I meet people with various MSK conditions, I listen to their needs and goals and guide them through the recovery process whilst promoting long-term self-management strategies. I improve my knowledge and maintain my competency through continuous professional development. I regularly create opportunities to develop and remain abreast with clinical knowledge and evidence based clinical practice in my area of work. I ensure that I reflect on my own practice and adhere to national guidelines and initiatives. I am state registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).
