High Peak First Aid Training was established in 1997 by Nicola Pickering after a series of solo caving trips in unexplored caves in remote areas of Nepal. These experiences formed the basics of how could a lone person look after themselves in a remote location when help was unavailable, and a person had to be completely self-sufficient. Our client's feedback has developed the company and courses over the last twenty-seven years. We now have a small team of tutors who are qualified or hold posts in the following areas... Our training has been accepted for first aid in the workplace and outdoor education for twenty-eight years. High Peak First Aid is recognised by major awarding bodies such as the Mountain Training Association, British Canoeing, MBCUK, and MIAS, among many others.
