Grant Wellbelove and Andrew Quested form the premier estate agency team in Belgravia and the surrounding areas.
The business was established in 2007. The founding partners have had a long history of working in the Belgravia market and have seen their sales rise to over £100 million per annum.
"Property is in my blood - my late father was a property developer with a large portfolio in West Kensington & Chelsea. My bothers and I spent many days assisting him in the redecoration and general refurbishment of his properties.
After achieving a BA (Hons) degree in History & Geography I went straight into estate agency in Kensington, moving after just a few years to Belgravia where I have been ever since. You cannot beat the stucco terraces, when the sun shines it is very elegant and imposing. It is a real privilege to operate in such a cosmopolitan environment.
I lived in London until the children came along, we then moved down to West Sussex. Even the daily commute does not stop me coming to the office, I thoroughly enjoy everything our sophisticated market has to offer.
I am very keen on country pursuits, including game shooting and horse riding. I enjoy skiing, tennis and have a particular interest in photography and can boast that most of the pictures in our office are taken in house!"
I fell into the estate agency business about 30 years ago by chance and have loved it ever since. Most of my career has been spent in Belgravia, with brief spells in Kensington, South Kensington and Chelsea.
It has been a time of enormous change, with leasehold reform transforming a type of tenure that goes back to medieval times.
As a result, Belgravia has become especially sought after. Aesthetically it has always been one of the most beautiful areas, but the fact that most of the properties were leasehold put off a large number of prospective purchasers, who preferred areas where long leases and freeholds were more readily available. Since the various changes in the Law, Belgravia has seen its popularity soar.
I feel very fortunate to be based here in Belgravia and coming here every day is still an absolute pleasure.
