Anthony Finch

Mr Finch is a professional mining engineer who has over thirty years' experience in mining engineering, mining operations management and mining consulting. Mr Finch`s mining operations career ranges from production engineer to mine manager. Additionally, Mr Finch has provided technical mining engineering consulting services throughout the world on a broad range of underground and surface mines and commodities. Mr Finch has lead and participated in many mining studies from scoping to full feasibility in a variety of commodities, jurisdictions, and mining methods. He possesses competencies in mine planning, mine design and scheduling, economic evaluation, mine management, mine optimisation, due diligence, audits, mergers and acquisitions, project management, technology development, and business consulting. Mr Finch is a competent and qualified person in most commodities, in most jurisdictions, and most mining methods and has published papers on mine optimisation and mining technology.

Antonio Valério da Silva

Mr da Silva is a Brazilian geologist with over 35 years of mineral industry experience. He worked for five years in the Brazilian Mines department during which he developed a keen understanding of the Brazilian mining code and the associated legal obligations. This was followed by 11 years working for consulting companies on a variety of projects in the Amazon region of Brazil. This included a period with Docegeo, the exploration arm of Vale and Empresas Nucleares Brasileiras, the government`s nuclear mineral exploration company. Since 1983 he has acted as a consultant to a number of local mining companies and in 1986 he co-founded MVR which has worked with companies including BHP, AngloGold and most recently GoldCorp Inc. He has a geology degree from Pará State University and lives in Belém, Brazil. He is a legal representative of the Group`s Brazilian subsidiaries.

Dr Owen Bavinton

Dr Bavinton graduated from the University of Queensland in Geology in 1969, holds a Master's Degree in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College, London and a PhD in Economic Geology from ANU, Canberra, Australia. He has over 40 years of varied international experience in the minerals exploration and mining sector in several commodities. From 1974 to 1985 he had several positions with Western Mining Corporation, finally as director of WMC's activities in Brazil. From 1986 to 1992 he was Chief Executive Officer of Aredor Guinea SA. In 1992 he joined Anglo American where Dr Bavinton remained until his retirement in 2010. Dr Bavinton was responsible for Anglo American's exploration and project evaluation activities in the FSU, Central Europe and the Middle East. He moved to London in 1998, initially as Head of Exploration for Minorco, and later Group Head of Exploration and Geology for Anglo American. In those roles, he was responsible for worldwide exploration and geosciences covering a range of exploration projects, through all stages of development, including advanced projects and feasibility studies. He is a fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, the Association of Applied Geochemists and the Institute of Materials, Mining and Metallurgy.

Gillian Davidson

Dr Davidson, an industry leader in sustainability, has over 25 years of experience in the extractives and natural resources sectors. She is an independent sustainability advisor and currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of AIM quoted Central Asia Metals plc and TSX listed Lundin Gold and New Gold Inc. Dr Davidson is a founding member and Chair of the Global Battery Alliance, an initiative created to drive a sustainable battery value chain. Gillian Davidson is also Chair of International Women in Mining. Dr Davidson was, until 2017, Head of Mining & Metals at the World Economic Forum, leading global and regional initiatives for responsible and sustainable development. Prior to this, she was Director of Social Responsibility at Teck Resources Limited. She holds a MA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow, a PhD in Development Economics and Economic Geography from the University of Liverpool and is an alumnus of the Governor General of Canada's Leadership Conference.

Guy de Freitas

Guy is an experienced mining finance professional, with an extensive track record in private equity and investment banking, and has over US$2.0 billion of completed transaction experience across IPOs, follow-ons, M&A, project financing and principal investments, across a range of commodities and geographies. Prior to joining Horizonte, Guy worked for Appian Capital Advisory LLP and Macquarie Capital. Guy has significant experience in Brazil having played a lead role while at Appian in managing the firm's Brazilian portfolio, which included the successful development of the Serrote copper-gold mine. Guy holds a Masters in Finance from INSEAD and Bachelor of Business Science (Finance) from the University of Cape Town.

Jeremy Martin

Mr Martin holds a degree in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines, and a Master's Degree in mineral exploration from the University of Leicester. He has worked in South America, Central America and Europe, where he was responsible for grassroots regional metalliferous exploration programs through to resources definition and mine development. Mr Martin has established a number of JV partnerships with major mining companies and has been involved in the formation of four AIM and TSX traded companies. He has served on a number of public company boards and is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Institute of Mining Analysts.

Katie Millar

Ms Millar is a corporate responsibility specialist with extensive social development, licensing & policy experience. Ms Millar possesses an MBA from IE Business School, a Post-Graduate Diploma from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science from the University of Queensland. Her experience includes working for the Australian Government (Federal & State), Anglo American Plc Metallurgical Coal and Anglo American Plc Base Metals Brazil. Ms Millar possesses knowledge in working across the IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, Global Reporting Initiative, CONAMA Resoluções (Brazil) & ISO 14001. She also demonstrates knowledge in working across large capital projects, industrial operations and public policy. Ms Millar is fluent in Portuguese and has worked in Brazil for over 7 years.

Leo Neves

Leo Neves has over 20 years of experience having developed his legal career at law firms Pinheiro Neto Advogados (Brazil), McMillan LLP (Canada) and Fasken Martineau LLP (UK). He has also acted inhouse for various mining companies, including Ferrous Resources where he spent 9 years as Head of Legal and Company Secretary until its acquisition by Vale S.A. in 2019. Prior to joining Horizonte, Mr Neves acted as a senior legal consultant for global law firm Linklaters LLP (Re:link, London). Mr Neves holds an LL.B. degree from University of Brasília (UnB) and an LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales, as well as in Brazil and Portugal (advogado).

Leo Vianna

He was previously Project Director for Vale's B$1.9B Bahodopi nickel project (REKEF processing plant) in Asia. He has significant experience in Project Management (FEL methodology and PMI), Engineering, Construction, Maintenance and Health & Safety and has worked in Brazil, Mozambique, South Africa, Guinea, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Vianna holds a bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering from CEFET - Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in corporate finance from PUC - Rio de Janeiro.

Michael Drake

Michael is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive international leadership experience in the construction, operation and optimisation of medium to large capex projects, with extensive expertise in both ferro-nickel, and nickel acid-leach operations. Prior to joining Horizonte, Michael worked for BHP, Newcrest Mining, and WMC Resources. At BHP, Michael led Cerro Matoso's US$350 million ferro nickel production line refurbishment with a complete furnace rebuild in Colombia. As Vice President: Projects and Engineering at Nickel West, he was responsible for the implementation of a US$5 billion capital investment programme, and he led the asset ramp-up phase of the Ravensthorpe nickel operation in Australia. Michael is a graduate from Curtin University and also has an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Mr Vincent Benoit

Mr Benoit has over 30 years of corporate finance, business development and M&A experience in the mining, telecom, and energy sectors. Mr Benoit identified the opportunity to buy La Mancha and joined the company as Head of Strategy & Business Development in 2012, before leading La Mancha's portfolio restructuring and contributing to the enhancement of its mines performance in Australia and Africa then identifying and executing the combinations with Evolution and Endeavour, which positioned La Mancha as a leading private investor in the gold mining sector. From 2016 to 2019, Vincent was CFO and EVP Corporate Development at Endeavour where he reshaped the strategy, improved the mine portfolio quality, and enhanced the balance sheet to fund the organic growth. Endeavour's market capitalization was quadrupled by the time he left at the end of 2019. In early 2020, he re-joined La Mancha to oversee investments and fund raising. Previously, Mr Benoit was at Orange (2006-2012) where he served as EVP M&A. He led the development of the group's footprint in Africa and Europe and formed strategic partnerships with key European telecoms players. Prior to this, Mr Benoit held various finance positions including with Orano (ex-Areva), Bull Information Systems and PwC. Vincent holds a MSc from Kedge Business School and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr William Fisher

Mr Fisher graduated as a geologist in 1979 and has extensive industry experience which has included a number of residential posts in Africa, Australia, Europe and Canada in both exploration and mining positions. Under his leadership, Karmin Exploration discovered the Aripuanã base metal sulphide deposits in Brazil. From 1997 to 2001 Mr Fisher was Vice President, Exploration for Boliden AB, a major European mining and smelting company where he was responsible for thirty five projects in nine countries. From 2001 to 2008, Bill led GlobeStar Mining Corp. from an exploration company to an emerging base metal producer in the Dominican Republic which developed and operated the Cerro de Maimon mine until it was sold to Perilya for USD 186 million. Mr Fisher was also Chairman of Aurelian Resources which was acquired by Kinross in 2008 for USD 1.2 Billion after the discovery of the Fruta del Norte gold deposit in Ecuador. Mr Fisher currently serves as Executive Chairman of Goldquest Mining Corp. (TSX: GCQ), independent director of Treasury Metals Inc. (TSX: TML) and Chairman of Rame Energy (AIM: RAME).

Philipa Varris

Philipa Varris has held leadership positions in environment, health, safety and community management in the mining sector for over 25 years, primarily in Africa and Australasia and across a number of mineral commodities. Philipa has been awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for leadership in Australia's largest community consultation and strategic vision development initiative and was recognized in 2020 as one of the WIM UK 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining. As a champion for mining ESG leadership, Philipa has led teams recognised with the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Award for Environment and Social Responsibility, the AMEEF Award for Environmental Excellence, and the Mines and Money ESG Producer of the Year Award, amongst others. Philipa is a Non-Executive Director of EnviroGold Global and is a member of the UK Committee of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Simon Retter
