Words just can't describe my experience over the last six months with Peter and his amazing team With a massive fear of going to the dentist, the Enhance team were very caring and sympathetic to my fears. The whole process of the dental works that were required to be completed were explained to me every step of the way. I now have the MOST amazing, confident smile and stronger healthier teeth. Have recently had root canal surgery, two crowns and a broken veneer replaced. Peter did an amazing job using state of the art technology and considerable skill. The cerec technology is amazing - if you ever dread getting a crown fitted, this method is much less stressful and more precise than traditional methods using a plaster mould. All of the staff I've encountered here are professional and friendly, and do their best to make you feel comfortable. Heartily recommended.
I've just had root canal treatment for the first time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pete and his very professional team. The treatment was excellent and any fears I had were quickly dispelled.
I started my journey as a Dental Nurse in 2017 at Teesside University. After qualifying, I worked in a mixed NHS/Private practice before joining the team here in 2023.
I love being part of the patients journey and seeing them smile with confidence at the end of their treatment.

I've been a customer of Enhance Dental Care since a tooth shattered in 2015. I'd assumed the remains of the tooth would just need pulling out, but Peter was able to repair and cap the tooth, which had the added benefit of getting rid of an old mercury based filling. I have a hereditary issue with my tooth enamel and have been with the same dentist since my early teens. Fast forward 20 years and multiple crowns etc, I have built up quite a specific trust in him.. so after a sudden bout of toothache where it turned out not only did I need a root canal, but that he recommended I see a specialist to ensure the best results, it really made me quite nervous. He recommended Pete at Enhance and all I can say is - wow. After my referral and (promptly arranged) initial consultation I came away feeling really positive about the team here. Pete talked me through my xrays, explained the process and prepared me that I might need more than one visit for my RCT. In the end it was completed within one session and I'm sure it's thanks to his expertise and the state of the art technology at the practice. Mainly I really can't believe how easy and painless it was, carried out with such skill and efficiency. I really was pleasantly surprised. First rate service. I would thoroughly recommend Enhance.

I started my Dental Nurse career in 2015 working in a mixed NHS/Private practice. After qualifying in 2017, I went on to complete a Level 5 Management and Leadership Qualification with the Chartered Management Institute. I'm usually hidden behind the scenes; however, you will occasionally find me at reception or assisting a clinician in the surgery.
Outside of work I'm kept busy with my two toy poodles - Toto and Brucey, who like to explore new places just as much as I do.

Having neglected my teeth for several years due to some less than satisfactory experiences with other dentists, I first went to Enhance Yarm last year for advice and recommendations. Peter gave me a frank and professional assessment of the state of my teeth and the remedial work needed. Due to the extent of the remedial work required I have attended the practice over the course of five months for extractions, root canal work and crown replacements. Some of the sessions have been lengthy enough to warrant a coffee break half way through ! I have always felt confident in the care I have received and the way in which treatment has been administered. The state of the art equipment means that crowns have been made and fitted during the same session. X-rays and scans are shown on the screen while Peter explains what he is doing. My latest check up indicates no further work is necessary at present, and my teeth feel fine. All this, and with a choice of background music and excellent staff ! Keep up the good work.
