His extensive portfolio encompasses C-level and directorial placements across diverse sectors including international mining, metals, private equity, metallurgical technology, and mining equipment. Carl's background as a civil engineering technician, concentrating on mining and tunnelling, coupled with an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, and Economics from the UK, and a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from Brighton, United Kingdom, provides him with a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen.

Conor O'Callaghan is the Managing Partner and founder of Millar Cameron. He has specialised in recruiting executive and senior level professionals into emerging markets for over 22 years, focusing for the last 12 years on Africa leadership recruitment.
His diverse experience includes C level and Director level appointments in private equity, agriculture, consumer, forestry, international development and technology.
He holds a BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Portsmouth and University of Mariano Galvez, Guatemala.
Conor is a Trustee of The Merchant Taylors' Oxfordshire Academy Trust and sits on the Walter Bigg Foundation, a body that supports youth in his local community. He is a strong advocate in offender rehabilitation and has spent the last 15 years providing guidance at many prisons.

A global talent acquisition specialist with a demonstrable track record of executive delivery across global locations, Dolapo has successfully completed complex assignments including Chief People Officers, General Counsels, and Chief Human Resources Officers. A dynamic specialist, he has been able to establish strong networks spanning Private Equity, Technology and Financial services.

Hamish joined Millar Cameron in 2017 and is engaged across the technology, power & infrastructure, and finance sectors.
He has supported start-ups, multinationals, private equity, and investment banks on cross-functional searches across technical, technological, commercial, operational, and financial roles from analyst to director level.
Prior to joining Millar Cameron, Hamish worked for a fintech unicorn.
Hamish is an active community volunteer in Oxford, United Kingdom for mental health and recruitment charities.

Her career began in banking and she moved into the publishing world before joining Millar Cameron in 2015.

Jayne has a long track record in finding senior executives and board members in the international energy sector, particularly in Africa. She has worked predominately in Sub-Saharan markets for 20 years and is one of the executive search market leaders in power, renewables and infrastructure.
Joseph joined our Kenya office in 2023 as a Consultant. He has prior experience as a Talent and Change Consultant and has managed end to end recruitment assignments across International Development, Financial Inclusion, Agriculture and Health sectors. An IT professional by training, he brings diverse experience in leveraging technology and innovations in people management.
Joseph holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, and is a Certified Psychometrist with expertise in administering Saville, AoN and Strengthscope® Assessments. He is also a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner with key skills in developing change management strategies, plans and interventions.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading and mentoring young people to develop workplace skills.
Justin has over a decade of experience recruiting senior leaders in the energy & natural resources sectors across the EMEA region, with a clear focus on Africa-facing appointments.
He has completed a range of senior searches spanning CEO, CFO, COO, Managing Director, and General Manager positions across a range of functions: commercial, investment, corporate, operational, and technical for listed and privately owned businesses.
Prior to working in recruitment, Justin spent 15 years in sales and marketing roles within manufacturing and design businesses.

Marc joined Millar Cameron in 2024 to align himself with an organisation that shares his passion for Forestry, Food & Agriculture across Africa.
Having grown up on a working farm in South Africa, Marc has a passion for and working knowledge of agriculture. He leverages his recruitment experience across Africa to help find solutions to key human capital requirements in middle management through to executive level, C-suite, and non-executive roles.

Maria joined Millar Cameron in 2022 as an Associate Consultant within the Research Team, primarily supporting our agribusiness desk.
Originally from Spain, Maria is fluent in Spanish and English. Having lived in Italy at a young age, she is currently studying to recover her Italian.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Communications, Design and Marketing from St Mary's University.
Music and faith are important aspects of her life and she volunteers regularly as a singer/musician at Christian gatherings across London.
Peter joined Millar Cameron in 2023 and has worked extensively throughout the African region in Executive Search, Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, successfully placing senior leadership and executive management roles in varying industry sectors such as Academia, Agriculture, Financial Services, Food Manufacturing and Processing, Mining, FMCG, Retail, and Tourism. Peter's areas of expertise extend to Human Resources Audits, and Executive Coaching and Leadership Development as an ORSC certified coach.
Peter has a keen eye for detail and thorough research. He is a databank of information, up to date with current affairs especially developments in the economic space, he has in depth knowledge of different African cultures and the diverse ways of doing business in Africa.
With nearly 10 years executive search consultancy experience gained from working for an international executive search firm TRANSEARCH, Peter brings about a fresh style to client relationship management.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) French & Portuguese, ACE Diploma in English Language Teaching from University of Manchester, a Transformational Leadership Certificate from LASOF Institute, an Advanced Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, and a Diploma in Training Management. Rachael joined Millar Cameron in 2013 and manages the company's finance, human resources and administration. She is also a member of Millar Cameron's leadership team.

Rachael began her career in recruitment introducing environmental and sustainability experts.
She holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southampton.

Ruqayah joined Millar Cameron in 2023 and is based in our Kenya office.

Sheila is responsible for developing and managing our executive search and talent consulting services within the East African market.
She has over 15 years executive search and leadership recruitment experience at board, C-suite and senior management level across a number of sectors. A large portion of her search career has focused on partnering with banking/financial services, FMCG and manufacturing companies across the East Africa region.
Sheila has also successfully delivered a range of talent and HR consulting solutions, including succession planning, talent mapping and compensation and rewards advisory.
She is actively involved in executive coaching as well as various mentorship and leadership development programs.
Prior to joining Millar Cameron, Sheila led PWC's executive search practice and then went on to be the East Africa regional head for Pedersen & Partners, a globally recognised executive search consultancy.
Shelmith joined Millar Cameron in 2023 and is based in our office in Nairobi.
She brings almost a decade of experience in executive search, managing the end-to-end processes across a range of sectors including international development, private equity, manufacturing, retail and financial services. Her contributions also extend to management consulting where she has successfully executed assignments related to job grading, talent mapping and organisation design.
Shelmith is a certified psychometrist with expertise in conducting SHL personality and ability assessments as well as TMA Integrated Talent Management tools. She is also certified in administering the Belbin Behavioural assessment test.
