We first met Aggie when her daughter completed a week of student work experience at Safewell in 2023, and we're delighted that she has now joined us to expand our team of Occupational Health Advisors. With her background working as an A&E nurse and a health visitor, Aggie brings a wealth of experience, fuelled by her passion for public health and research. Beyond her professional pursuits, Aggie also has an interest in healthy living and food. She enjoys music, reading, knitting and painting in her spare time. An avid dog-lover, Aggie shares her family life with a Jack Russell named Loco. Angie Reeves

With a background in communications and customer service, Angie enjoys the client interaction that comes with her role in sales and marketing. Dealing with new enquiries, looking after retained contracts, and organising our first aid training courses, are all part of her role. Outside of work, Angie spends her time painting portraits and landscapes in acrylics, oils and pastels, and keeps fit at the gym and with Pilates.

Charles ‘Butch' Robinson

Job Titles:
  • Fire Safety Consultant
Charles, otherwise known as Butch, has joined Safewell as Fire Risk Assessor, working with our clients to review and update fire risk assessments and deliver Fire Marshal training. With a career spanning over 30 years with the Ministry of Defence and Dorset & Wiltshire fire rescue services, he brings a wealth of skills and experience.

Chris Fulgoni

The newest addition to our Health & Safety team, Chris brings over 15 years of experience. He has worked in a variety of industries, including catering, retail, warehousing, and manufacturing, gaining him a range of consultancy skills. Chris holds a NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health & Safety and is a GRAD IOSH member. Outside of work, Chris is a keen archer, practising both target and field archery. He also loves everything Art Deco, films, and reading books.

Donna Carter

Donna joined Safewell's Health and Safety Team in December 2019. She began her career working in the financial services sector before moving into the telecommunications industry, working within compliance. Here she spent over 15 years developing, implementing and managing Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality management systems across multiple sites. In her spare time Donna enjoys spending quality time with her family, walking and going to the gym, as well as playing the clarinet in a local concert band.

Being dual trained in... Gail heads up our occupational health division and has worked for over 25 years in occupational health and safety, many of which in senior positions. Being dual trained in occupational Health, and health & Safety enables Gail to offer a unique service to our clients, which is second to none. Gail has a passion for Occupational Health and believes that good health is good for all businesses and healthier workplaces have better financial results. In her spare time Gail enjoys the theatre, spending time at her holiday home and looking after her grandson.

Karen Dixon

Bookkeeper and Assistant to the MD Karen has worked with Safewell since 2015 as our Bookkeeper. In May 2019 we were pleased when she officially joined the Team as Bookkeeper and assistant to the MD. As she describes it, she keeps the money flowing in & out! She is... Karen has worked with Safewell since 2015 as our Bookkeeper. In May 2019 we were pleased when she officially joined the Team as Bookkeeper and assistant to the MD. As she describes it, she keeps the money flowing in & out! She is also the primary point of contact for accounts and credit control, too. Karen has been bookkeeping for 11 years and is qualified to AAT level 4. Like everyone, Karen is an integral cog in the workings of Safewell. Outside of work, she is a busy individual, singing in a choral society, being a Director for two family-run businesses, and sitting at her craft desk creating and sharing her love of papercraft. The office does sometimes benefit from these times with birthday cards, Christmas & Easter gifts

Liam Farrow

Working closely with members of our Health & Safety team and studying towards his Nebosh National General Certificate, we're pleased to welcome Liam on our trainee programme. Liam is learning everything there is to know about Health & Safety and, once fully trained, will be putting his knowledge, skills and qualifications into practice with his own customers. An enthusiastic new addition to our team, Liam has previous experience of working in multiple industries, including service, retail, and teaching, and has spent recent years overseas in the entertainment business for a leading travel provider. Outside of work, Liam keeps fit with Taekwondo, football and the gym, and also enjoys music and gaming.

Lucy Hills

Job Titles:

Lucy has studied at the University of Gloucestershire as a sports coach and development officer. She worked as a swimming teacher throughout University and, on completing her degree, entered the care industry as a leisure and wellness co-ordinator. Lucy then moved to Nuffield Health as an occupational health administrator, working alongside nurses to provide health surveillance to clients such as BMW and McLaren (both cars and formula 1, enjoying the opportunity to see inside both factories). In her spare time, Lucy loves being a mum and step-mum to three boys, particularly going on bike rides with their dog around Swindon and to local parks.

Matt Hobbs

Matt joined Safewell's Health and Safety Team in August 2021. He brings experience of working in health and safety for a large local employer. On discovering a passion for health & safety later in his career, Matt has added to his experience in recent years by gaining the NEBOSH General Certificate and Level 6 NVQ diploma in OSH. Making the most of his musical abilities outside of work, Matt has played the drums for 34 years supporting acts such as Suede, Catatonia, Embrace and Ash. He has recently retired his drumsticks, however, to enjoy time with his family.

Michelle Jeal

Michelle joined the Safewell Team in 2013. She has been working in health and safety for over 20 years and has experience working in enforcement within the public sector as an Environmental Health Officer and as a Health and Safety Consultant within private consultancies and large organisations. She also has qualifications in Food Safety Management and Fire Safety. When not taxi driving her children to various activities, in her spare time Michelle enjoys singing in the local choir, running, mountain walking and socialising with family and friends over dinner and wine.

Mike Gatrill

Job Titles:
  • Occupational Health Technician & Fit Tester
Mike started with Safewell as an Occupational health technician in January 2017 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years' experience from the world of personal training and sports therapy. Since 2020, Mike has been Safewell's lead in Face Fit Testing, holding Fit2Fit accreditations for the Portacount and Hood testing. He has also worked for the NHS Out of Hours Service as a co-ordinator, giving him invaluable experience of working with many different medical cases requiring the use of various resources to suggest appropriate care to patients. With many other roles that he has performed, from care assistant to an RAF reserves serviceman, and much more, Mike brings significant experience and understanding to the Safewell team.

Nick Evans - Managing Director

He formed Safewell because he wanted businesses to benefit from sensible and easy to understand occupational health, and health... Nick has worked in the health and safety industry for 20+ years. He formed Safewell because he wanted businesses to benefit from sensible and easy to understand occupational health, and health & safety advice. He is passionately driven to enable, coach and support the Safewell Team to deliver the very best service they can - which each team member can take personal pride in what they do. He is a Chartered Safety Practitioner and in his spare time, Nick runs Movewell Taekwondo and is a 5th Degree Taekwondo black belt. He also enjoys road cycling, strength and movement training, and spending quality time with his family. There is a real passion behind the reasons he created Safewell, but three reasons stand out: To promote accessible, sensible and proportionate health and safety advice for all businesses To change the image of health and safety consultants to dynamic and enabling professionals To promote the high standards necessary to give competent health and safety advice Nick was awarded ‘Wiltshire Business Person of the Year 2019' for Medium-sized businesses (10-50 employees). This is an award he was humbled to received and is testament to the hard work of the team who each day actively contribute to the vision and purpose of Safewell.

Sally Demuth

Job Titles:

Sally worked as a registered nurse for seven years before making a career change to occupational health within the NHS. She joined Safewell in 2016 to broaden her training. She is married with three children. In her spare time, Sally enjoys knitting and crochet with "assistance" from her three dogs and cat.

Sophie Asquith

Job Titles:
  • Occupational Health Technician
With a career to date that includes working for a leading travel provider overseas, and for schools and nurseries in the UK, Sophie brings excellent customer service and organisational skills. Dealing with health surveillance, face fit tests, medical pre-assessments, appointments and clinic arrangements, Sophie's ‘can-do' attitude and friendly nature means she has quickly become an integral part of our department. Outside of work, Sophie loves spending time with her family, working out at fitness classes, and exploring new cities and countries.
