Alison Austin

Job Titles:

Alison graduated from the University of East London in 2000 and gained a wide range of experience working in both in-patient settings and community settings within the NHS and private practice. Alison is qualified to offer acupuncture as part of her treatments and to assist with pain management. Alison has qualifications in Pilates and offers this as part of her treatments.

Charlie North

Job Titles:
  • Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist
Charlie qualified as a Physiotherapist from University of Brighton and has gained experience and skills across a broad range of specialities including: respiratory, orthopaedic and stroke working in the NHS at Northampton General Hospital and in private practice. Charlie works with with a variety of neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinsons, MS, Brain Injury, FND and Spinal Cord Injury. Charlie has experience in assessing clients for suitability with Exoskeletons (ReWalk and Freewalk), FES cycling, Turbomed and other technological adjuncts. Charlie is based at Physiofunction Spratton, providing rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions.

Claire Everett

Qualifications and Experience Claire qualified in Physiotherapy from the University Teeside and gained much of her experience working on the Stroke Unit at Northampton General Hospital and in private practice. Claire has extensive knowledge and experience in assessing and working with clients' who have complex neurological conditions in a variety of settings. Claire regularly works alongside case managers, solicitors and other health care professionals. She employs a combination of hands-on therapy (Bobathand Neuromuscular Energising Therapy (NET)), rehabilitation technology and exercise therapy. Claire is trained and experienced in Functional Electrical Stimulation devices(FES), Turbomed, all Saebo products, Pablo, Gripable, GMove, AlterG and Mindmaze.

Emma Graham

Emma qualified as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 1992 and gained a wide range of experience working in both in-patient settings and community settings within the NHS and private practice. Emma has also gained a post graduate diploma in manipulative physiotherapy at Coventry University. This is for physiotherapists who have reached a recognised standard of excellence in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She is a current member of The Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). Emma is in the process of becoming a Jems Practitioner. Jems is built on the basis of neuroscience, biomechanics, psychology and rehabilitation research and is balanced by many holistic movement approaches. By using simple techniques to make new links between the brain and body this can change the way the body responds.This is a methodical, effective method which targets the body's efficiency of motion, and addresses physical performance as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation. Emma has experience working as part of a wider MDT and often works closely with consultants and other medical professionals.

Georgina Harris

Georgina qualified from the University of the West of England Bristol in 2007, and has gained exceptional experience working collaboratively within multi disciplinary teams. Georgina develops up to date, patient centred treatment programmes encouraging self-motivation and maintenance for a wide variety of complex neurological conditions, in both outpatient and home settings. Georgina is also a qualified Aquatic Physiotherapist. Georgina is community based, providing individual telerehab sessions using the Zoom platform as well as providing hands-on physiotherapy in home settings.

Guy Clennett

Qualifications & Experience Guy graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. While completing his undergraduate degree in the United States of America, Guy routinely volunteered at a Parkinson's support group, Rock Steady Boxing, where he found a vocational interest in helping individuals with Parkinson's disease achieve their goals.

Jon Graham

Jon is the Clinical Director of PhysioFunction which provides private out-patient and community neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports therapy and personal training services. Jon qualified in 1992 as a Physiotherapist, and has over 30 years of experience of treating adults and adolescents with complex Neurological conditions and Polytrauma using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and technology. He contributes as a Physiotherapy Expert to charities in their newsletters and discussion forums. He has delivered presentations on Physiotherapy for Neurological Conditions and Technology for Neurological Rehabilitation at a number of conferences, seminars, educational study days and exhibitions. He is recognised as an international expert in Neurological Physiotherapy and he has taught post-graduate therapy skills courses and Technology Skills to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists across the UK and abroad. Jon prepares Physiotherapy medico-legal reports, and has prepared quantum reports for Claimants, quantum and causality reports for Defendants and quantum reports for both parties as a Single Joint Expert. He has also been instructed by solicitors to prepare reports since 2012 addressing the suitability of and potential benefits of exoskeleton technology use for claimants.

Keiran Cox

Keiran qualified from Bedford University in 2019 in Sports Therapy. Keiran worked alongside the Northampton Saints Rugby players on placement and has also worked alongside charities during the London Marathon to help to provide treatments to their runners. Keiran has and has gained experience working alongside our expert neurological physiotherapists In 2022 Keiran qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and is available to provide 1:1 sessions both in clinic and online. Keiran is based at Physiofunction Spratton, providing support to our Neurological and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists. He is a Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer. Keiran assists clients with physiotherapist led programmes on the FES cycles, LiteGait, Easy Glider and Mindmaze, and manages client programmes on the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill. This can help with the rehabilitation of gait, balance and exercise tolerance across a wide range of clients including those with sports injuries, neurological injury, chronic mobility issues and post-surgery.

Kerry Lloyd

Kerry has over twenty-three years' clinical experience as a Physiotherapist. She is highly experienced in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has a particular interest in spinal conditions and persistent pain. Kerry previously worked for the NHS role in a community musculoskeletal and pain management service and also as a Clinical Case Manager for clients who have sustained catastrophic life changing injuries. Kerry has a Master's degree in Physiotherapy which predominantly focused on advanced clinical practice skills. Kerry has advanced practice and extended scope skills, including the prescription and management of medicines as a Non-Medical Prescriber and the use of imaging and injection therapy. Kerry has been producing physiotherapy reports for MSK conditions, orthopaedics and amputees for over 5 years and these include breach of duty, quantum and condition and prognosis reports.

Kirsten Good

Kirsten graduated from Nottingham in 2001 and has worked with many complex neurological clients within the NHS and the private sector. She has worked in community settings including care homes, specialist rehabilitation clinics,domiciliary settings as well as in-patient facilities. Kirsten employs a combination of hands-on therapy (Bobath and Neuromuscular Energising Therapy (NET)) and technology. Kirsten has also undergone further post-graduate training in Aquatic Physiotherapy for Neurological Conditions and treats neurological clients in the hydrotherapy pool. She is also accredited under the ATACP (Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). Kirsten has undertaken training in the Halliwick Concept which is an approach to teaching all people, in particular, focusing on those with physical and/or learning difficulties, to take part in water activities, to move independently in water, and to swim.

Lauren Haughton

Lauren qualified from Brunel University in 2011. After qualifying Lauren completed rotations in Stroke, Respiratory, Care of the Elderly, MSK and inpatient rehab at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. In 2014 she worked as a member of the fall's prevention team in Hillingdon and gained further experience in rehab working in Inpatient Rehab in Hillingdon. After relocating to Northamptonshire in 2021, Lauren worked as a rotational physiotherapist for Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust assessing and treating patients at home and in community hospitals. She has gained experience working with people who have Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder and Stroke.

Lynn Ward

Lynn graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham and after completing her NHS rotations she lived and worked in Toronto, Canada for 3 years on an acute neurosurgical unit. On return to the UK, Lynn worked in a variety of neurological settings from intermediate care to inpatient rehabilitation and has gained significant experience in the private sector where she has now worked for over 12 years. Lynn has a special interest in neuromuscular conditions and she is also a Certified APPI Pilates Instructor. Lynn employs a combination of hands-on therapy (Bobath, Myofascial Release),technology (FES and saebo), Pilates and general exercise to treat all neurological conditions.

Matt White

Qualifications and Experience Matt graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham in 2009 and worked as a physiotherapist whilst completing an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Metropolitan University where he focused upon psychology of injury and exercise prescription. Matt then grew his clinical and service development experience in advanced rehabilitation technologies, including robotics (static systems and over-ground exoskeletons), FES exercise equipment and virtual reality rehabilitation systems. Matt completed his postgraduate training in Neurological Physiotherapy Practice at Sheffield Hallam University, gaining Continued Professional Development in connective tissue management, anatomy trains, functional movement, Bobath, FES, acupuncture and taping. A member of ACPIN, IFESS and MASCIP; Matt presents posters and platform presentations at several professional events. Matt also regularly provides postgraduate clinical training in FES Exercise Technologies and guest lectures for undergraduate university studies. Matt has also undergone training in Aquatic Therapy. Matt is a member of MLACP.

Michelle Pullen

Qualifications and Experience Michelle has been practising physiotherapy for over 30 years having graduated from the Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in Birmingham in 1989 and has extensive experience in both NHS and private practice. She has worked collaboratively with GP's, Consultants and allied professionals such as podiatrists and pilates instructors. Michelle has been practicing aquatic therapy since 2013 and has worked with a variety of conditions/injuries including back issues, post spinal surgery along with pre and post operative hip and knee replacements and shoulder pathologies Michelle continues to attended regular post graduate training programmes and courses, in order to expand her knowledge and keep up with current developments in physiotherapy.

Michelle Taite

Zoe Littlemore

Qualifications and Experience Zoe is a Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Graduate from the University of Derby. During these studies she gained experience at the student led university sports therapy clinic, running events providing pre and post soft tissue massage and pitch side first aid, injury assessment and rehab at a grass roots rugby club. Zoe is implementing her knowledge and practical skills assisting our neurological physiotherapists in clinic. Zoe is based at Physiofunction Spratton, providing support to our neurological, musculoskeletal and aquatic physiotherapists. Zoe is a qualified Sports Therapist that can provide a variety of techniques including soft tissue massage, MET's, STR's, joint mobilisations and exercise rehabilitation.
