Adedayo Shittu-Balogun

Adedayo is a UK trained and Registered Architect with over 10 years' experience in Architectural Practice. Having spent her early years in Nigeria, Adedayo obtained her Architectural qualification from the University of Nottingham. She subsequently went on to complete a Master's Degree in Project and Enterprise Management at the Bartlett School of Architecture. She joined Eurban in 2016 as a Project Manager and has since worked on projects in a variety of sectors. Her professional and academic experience to date has equipped her with the ability to deliver high quality projects with a sensitive and pragmatic approach. At Eurban, Adedayo is responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of a range of project typologies from design through to assembly.

Carla Tutolo MEng

Job Titles:
  • Project Engineer
Carla studied Civil Engineering at the University of Bologna, graduating in 2018. She completed her Masters at the University of California San Diego, her thesis focused on the lateral behaviour of wood-frame walls. Carla has worked as a Project Engineer in the CLT industry since 2018 and in that time has developed a good knowledge of the various aspects of CLT, from design and process to manufacturing and buildability.

Claudio Ganz

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Engineer
Claudio is a certified carpenter in Switzerland and has a number of years' experience building timber frame structures on site and in the workshop. He studied timber engineering at the Bern University of Applied Science, Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering in Biel. During his studies he carried out an internship at Eurban and re-joined the company after graduation. Over the years Claudio has been involved in the design and calculation of structural solutions for a wide range of projects from single family houses to office spaces and educational buildings.

Claudiu Burbulea

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Designer
Claudiu graduated with a degree in Architectural Technology and construction management from VIA UC Denmark. Following graduation joined Eurban at the beginning of 2017 where his Revit knowledge gained at the university was expanded into deep understanding of BIM and DfMA and design automation. This knowledge was further expanded while working with a residential volumetric modular company between 2020-2023. Claudiu rejoined Eurban in 2023 to strengthen the design department; to bring further efficiencies in the use of CAM and BIM programs.

Dominik Nef

Job Titles:
  • Principal Engineer
Dominik has a number of years' experience as a certified carpenter in Switzerland. He studied timber engineering at the Bern University of Applied Science, Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering in Biel. Dominik started working for Eurban as an intern whilst studying in Biel and re-joined the company after graduation. He has supported a wide range of projects from small residential structures to multi-storey residential buildings, office spaces and educational buildings.

Eoin McCooey

Job Titles:
  • Design Director
Eoin graduated with a first class degree in Architectural Technology from Dublin Institute of Technology. Following graduation he was invited to return to the university to teach BIM to 4 th Year Students. As a result of his role as a Tutor for the European Architectural Student Assembly from 2014-2016 Eoin has been involved in several Student Design & Build projects. Having joined Eurban in 2012 he uses his extensive knowledge of BIM, DfMA and the timber supply chain to steer Eurban's various Departments. Eoin supervises Eurban Designers and Engineers overseeing aspects of project co-ordination, buildability & component detailing at the design, fabrication and assembly stages.

Hannes Voss Dipl

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Hannes joined Eurban as a Project Manager in 2019. He is a RIBA chartered Architect with 10+ years' experience in project delivery. His area of expertise encompasses both design and technical execution: from Conservation to Modern Methods of Construction. His portfolio includes the delivery of a number of Eurban's high-profile and distinct schemes. Hannes is a graduate of Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany.

Jonas Roethlisberger

Job Titles:
  • Project Designer
Jonas is a certified Carpenter and foreman in Switzerland and has over 10 years of experience in Carpentry. He studied at Architecture at Bern University of Applied Science, as well as Wood and Civil Engineering in Biel to become a timber construction technician. He recently joint Eurban in the office after a year on site installing mass timber constructions all over the UK.

Jonathan Fovargue - Founder

Job Titles:
  • Founding Director
After studying Environment and Ecological Management at Cranfield University, Jonathan's work in the construction industry started at Saint Gobain. His passion for construction and the environment, together with his interest in ecological building products and building systems, led him to Construction Resources in London, the UK's first ecological builders merchant. There he worked on the supply and distribution of natural and cellulose based materials and building systems. After discovering the potential of engineered timber structures, Jonathan founded Eurban with Liam Dewar, delivering the UK's first Cross Laminated Timber building structures in 2003. Jonathan has helped Eurban grow to become a leader in the delivery of low carbon building structures.

Joshua Slingsby

Job Titles:
  • Project Engineer
Joshua has vast knowledge and understanding of the commercial aspects, buildability and efficiencies of CLT design following a number of years' experience within the CLT industry. After initially studying Architectural Technology and becoming a chartered member of CIAT, he completed an MSc in structural engineering. He is able to apply this experience and knowledge throughout the design stages as a project engineer here at Eurban.

Julia Gonzalez

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Julia studied Architectural Technology in Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain with a semester abroad in Denmark. She started her career in London as a Quantity Surveyor working on international transportation projects for consultant Gleeds and later looking after education projects for a local authority. After six years of QS experience, she moved on to Project Management of central London residential projects. In 2023 she joined Eurban due to her interest in mass timber buildings.

Kieran Santry BTech

Kieran grew up in Ireland where he gained his qualifications. Has worked in forestry and sawmilling industry before working as a QS and Estimator for a main contractor for many years. Has a total of over 20years experience in the construction industry. Recently joined he brings a wealth of industry commercial knowledge.

Lauren Hunter

Job Titles:
  • Finance Assistant
Lauren is MAAT qualified and is now training towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. She has more than 5 years' experience in the construction industry, and has been with Eurban since 2018.

Liam Dewar

Liam grew up in Scotland and trained in Architecture and Engineering at the University of Bath. He is well acquainted with the international industry, speaking fluent German and spending time as an assistant Architect and Engineer in Germany, Switzerland and the UK. Liam's commitment to sustainable construction led him to the London-based company Construction Resources, where he met his future business partner, Jonathan. Liam plays an active role in architectural education, promoting sustainable construction and lecturing at universities across the UK. He also delivers seminars to public and private sector timber interest groups the world over, addressing the role mass timber construction has to play in sustainable development.

Magda Szabert

Magda has several years' experience as an architect in the UK and overseas. She has extensive knowledge of the mass timber industry having previously worked with KLH and Timber First on some of the biggest mass timber projects in the UK and Australia.

Nagy Ellazim

Job Titles:
  • IT Assistant
Nagy studied Information Technology Business Information Systems at Middlesex University graduating in 2021. He then worked as an IT technician at the Libyan Embassy. He has experience working with hardware and software.

Neil Johnstone

Job Titles:
  • Construction Manager
Neil, an experienced carpenter and Appointed Person (lifting operations), has worked as a Senior Construction Manager for Eurban for over 3 years having previously worked as a Site Supervisor since 2008. He is responsible for overseeing the construction phase of projects, in particular the pre-construction processes, site checks and liaising with the Construction Project Manager and project team as queries arise.

Paris Karaolis

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Designer
After studying Architecture at university, Paris has built up a wealth of experience and knowledge through working over 14 years in multiple Architectural practices. He has led and worked on complex projects with contract values of up to £95M.

Patrice Keenan

Job Titles:
  • Project Designer
Patrice graduated from The National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) with a degree in Civil Engineering. She subsequently went on to gain more than 5 years' experience with consulting engineering practices in both Ireland and the UK working with steel and concrete over a large range of projects. From 2015 to 2017 she trained and worked as a Revit Technician with a structural engineering firm in London, using her engineering experience to inform her work as a technician. Patrice joined Eurban in mid-2018 and has since worked on a number of projects including a large sports centre, a six-storey business school in Singapore and an office building extension in Central London - all from design through to the construction phase.

Philipp Zumbrunnen Dipl - COO

Job Titles:
  • Operations Director
Philipp was born in Switzerland, training first as a carpenter and foreman and then as a Project Manager for a Zurich-based Architectural office specialising in timber buildings. Philipp then studied at Bern University of Applied Science, Architecture, Wood & Civil Engineering in Biel, qualifying as a timber Structural Engineer in 2007. He went on to work at Blumer-Lehmann AG as a Project Engineer before moving to London to work as the Design Director at Eurban. He currently directs and manages Eurban's team of Engineers and Architects.

Roberto Mirabella MEng

Roberto completed his degree in Civil and Structural Engineering at Bath University in 2008 and has been a chartered member of IStructE since 2018. Prior to Eurban, he has worked with concrete, steel, glass and timber for mixed use developments, retail, educational and residential projects and temporary installations for leisure and sport events. He managed and helped deliver projects up to £250M in UK and France. At Eurban, he has contributed towards a range of CLT buildings in various sectors from private homes to multi storey residential blocks, office and leisure developments.

Sara Hunter - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Finance Director
Sara is training to be a Chartered Accountant. She has more than 20 years' accounting experience and for the last nine of these has been working in the design and construction sector. Sara has been with Eurban since 2015 and is responsible for overseeing and managing all Finance and HR for the business.

Sitong Lu BArch

Sitong graduated in 2022 from Central Saint Martins College at University of the Arts London in Architecture. She has experience in scheme development and presentation as well as developing architectural details and renderings. She assisted architects in preliminary designs, deepening her technical drawing and detailing skills.

Suzana Martinovic

Job Titles:
  • Management Accountant
Suzana is part qualified as a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years' accounting experience in different industries. Suzana has been with Eurban since 2018.

Tom Koperniak

Tom obtained a first-class degree in Architectural Design Technology from the University of West London and was awarded for his academic performance. After graduating from college, he utilised his skills as a civil engineering technician and an architectural technician to become an assistant architect in Poland and Belgium. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (ACIAT), as well as a member of the Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain. His ten years' experience in the construction industry include six as a professional shuttering carpenter in the United Kingdom. Tom is always motivated by a love for life, work, and the mountains.

Will Evans

Job Titles:
  • Project Engineer
Having started his career as a carpenter & joiner, Will progressed to designing, engineering and delivering platform timber frame, SIPS and glulam structures. Drawn to the opportunities of living and working in London, Will spent several years in Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy designing in concrete, steel, masonry & timber on schemes up to £600M across a range of sectors including Infrastructure, commercial refurbishments, education, health sciences & residential. Will is a chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Zaheen Ibrahimi

Job Titles:
  • Project Designer
Zaheen received a scholarship from the University of Westminster where he graduated with a First Class degree in Architectural Technology. After a week's work experience at Eurban during his studies, Zaheen re-joined the team at Eurban as a Project Designer, helping to deliver mass timber structures in a variety of sectors and scales. Following graduation he was offered to return to the University to teach BIM to 2nd year students.

Zahira Odimayo

Job Titles:
  • ARB Registered Architect
Zahira is an ARB registered Architect with 5 years' experience in Architectural practice. Her architectural portfolio includes projects in the residential, commercial and third sector in the UK. Zahira obtained her BSc (Hons) Architecture degree from Anglia Ruskin University. During the final year of her masters at the University of Brighton, a synopsis of Zahira's thesis ‘Painting the Town' was featured in Dezeen Virtual Design Festival 2020 which explored the use of cross laminated timber as a structural, visual and utilitarian element in design. After qualifying as an Architect from the University of Westminster, Zahira joined Eurban as a Project Manager in 2023.
