Adele is our highly experienced Lettings Manager at Hern & Crabtree. With over 25 years in the industry, Adele is a true expert in lettings and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Her experience and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team, always ensuring our clients and tenants are in great hands.
Alastair is one of the newest members of the Hern & Crabtree team, joining with a wealth of experience in photography and digital production. Before coming on board, he worked as a professional freelance photographer based in Cardiff, travelling all over the UK for various projects. After a 20-year career as a digital producer, Alastair pursued his passion for photography, earning an MA in Commercial Photography from the Arts University Bournemouth. With his warm and approachable nature, Alastair instantly puts clients at ease while working his magic behind the camera, capturing stunning images of properties ready for marketing.
Alfie is one of the newest faces at our Heath branch, joining us at the start of 2023. Despite being relatively new to the team, Alfie is already making a big impression! Having worked in the property industry since 2021, Alfie brings valuable experience from Lettings and New Homes sales with corporate agencies. His approachable personality and enthusiasm for the role make him a fantastic addition to the Hern & Crabtree family.
Amberley is a Sales Negotiator who has been part of the Hern & Crabtree family since 2019. Known for her blend of creativity, organization, and expertise, Amberley is an integral member of our Heath office team. With previous experience at a family-run agency and a degree in Advertising Design, she brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to her work. Having achieved a Level 3 Certificate for Sales and Lettings Agents (CELA), Amberley's dedication and innovative approach make her a favourite among clients and colleagues alike.
Amy is a Sales Negotiator whose wealth of experience and sunny personality make her a star player at our Heath branch. Joining us in 2017, Amy brought with her nearly two decades of experience from corporate agencies. Her extensive industry knowledge and natural knack for sales make her one of our strongest performers. Beyond her professional skills, Amy's infectious joy and positive energy light up the office every day.
Anna joined the Hern & Crabtree family in September 2023 and has quickly become an essential part of our lettings team, managing the day-to-day operations with ease. From handling calls with tenants, landlords, and applicants to coordinating maintenance and keeping everything organized with her trusty spreadsheets, Anna keeps everything running smoothly. Outside of work, Anna is a proud dog mom to her fluffy companion, Cooper, and she's always ready to greet any pups that visit the office with a treat and a smile!
Meet Anna, the heart and soul of our Pontcanna branch! Anna joined our team in 2015 and quickly became an essential part of the family. With over 25 years of agency experience (dating back to 1999!), she's a true expert in her field. Anna's not only known for her professionalism but also for her infectious kindness, humour, and friendliness-qualities that make her such a joy to work with. She's always the first to organise birthday celebrations, making sure no one's special day goes unnoticed. Her positive energy and dedication play a huge role in keeping the Pontcanna team happy, motivated, and successful.
Annamarie is a Sales Negotiator and a valued member of our Heath office. Joining the team in 2017, she is one of our most experienced and friendly members, always ready to greet clients and colleagues with warmth and enthusiasm. A seasoned estate agent starting out in 1989, Annamarie's expertise and personable nature make her an indispensable part of the team-and she's always game for the next team night out!
Denise is the calm and collected administrator who keeps our Llandaff branch running like clockwork. A valued member of Hern & Crabtree since 2011, Denise is known for her incredible efficiency and unflappable nature, even during the busiest times. She's teased about retiring but has yet to follow through-probably because we'd never let her leave! Denise is truly the backbone of our team.
Gareth joined the Hern & Crabtree family at the end of 2020, and it didn't take long for him to become a key player in our team. With a career in the industry that began in 2005, Gareth brings a wealth of expertise and boundless energy. Whether he's zipping around in our electric pool car or cruising on his Harley, Gareth loves being on the go and connecting with people. His enthusiasm and dedication are truly inspiring!
Gavin is the vibrant and charismatic Branch Manager of our lively Heath office. He joined Hern & Crabtree in 2020 from another large estate agency, bringing many years of experience and a natural flair for the industry. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Gavin is not just a seasoned agent but also a singer and entertainer, with multiple TV appearances to his name! From renovating his own property on C4's Worst House on the Street to featuring on BBC's Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience and X-Ray with Lucy Owen, Gavin's story even includes being married live on GMTV by Lorraine Kelly herself. With his passion and charm, Gavin truly brings the house down-in more ways than one!
Georgia, who joined the Hern & Crabtree team in early 2023 and is based in our lettings team in Pontcanna. With two years of estate agency experience under her belt from a previous role, Georgia quickly became a valuable member of the team. Whether she's out on viewings or in the office, you'll always find Georgia with a warm smile, ready to help tenants and landlords alike. She's the friendly face you can count on for all your lettings needs. Outside of work, Georgia dreams of a home with a spacious, south-facing garden-perfect for BBQs and sunbathing!

Harry is our dedicated Sales Negotiator, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the Llandaff office since joining in early 2000. Previously at Deloitte and a local accounting firm, Harry's attention to detail and friendly approach make him a trusted and well-loved member of the team. You can always count on Harry to keep things organized and running smoothly!
Jo, our brilliant Office Manager and Valuer, has been a cornerstone of the Llandaff office since 2013. With agency experience dating back to 1993 when she started as a "Sunday Girl," Jo's knowledge and local connections are second to none. Growing up in Canton and now living in Fairwater, she has strong ties to the community and Fairwater Rugby Club. Jo also doubles as our unofficial "social secretary," organizing memorable work nights out. She's a true gem both in and out of the office!
Meet Julie, our incredible Account Manager, who's been the financial backbone of Hern & Crabtree for nearly 15 years. Julie's the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, making sure all the details are in place so the rest of the team can shine. Her dedication and hard work are key to everything running like clockwork!
Say hello to Laura, who joined our lettings team at Hern & Crabtree in October 2023. You'll often spot her buzzing around Cardiff, conducting inspections, inventories, and sometimes even viewings! With 20 years of estate agency experience, Laura's always on hand to offer expert advice and share her knowledge. When she's not working, Laura loves catching up with friends over brunch or enjoying a good book in the sunshine.

Mike joined Hern & Crabtree in 2012 and quickly made his mark as the Branch Manager of Llandaff. His success and leadership led to his appointment as Company Director in 2016. Mike studied Business at UWE and began his estate agency career in 2006 in Bristol before returning home to Cardiff. With experience at a large corporate agency and now Hern & Crabtree, Mike brings a perfect mix of industry expertise, marketing know-how, and even professional photography skills to the table. His ambition, creativity and passion continue to drive the company forward.
Mitchell has been a vital part of the Pontcanna office since joining Hern & Crabtree in 2019. Known for his warm and personable approach, Mitchell is a client favourite and a key contributor to the branch's impressive growth. His dedication and expertise have helped establish the Pontcanna office as the area's number-one sales office. With a sharp eye for matching clients to their perfect homes, Mitchell's passion for property shines through in everything he does.
Natalya joined the Hern & Crabtree family in early 2023 and has quickly become an indispensable part of the Pontcanna Sales team. Armed with a Level 3 Certificate for Sales and Lettings Agents (CELA), she plays a key role in keeping the Pontcanna office running smoothly. Before finding her passion for property, Natalya spent six years in Finance & Accounting, where she developed a unique love for Excel spreadsheets-a skill she puts to good use every day!

With a wealth of experience in the property industry, Nigel saw the opportunity to breathe new life into Cardiff's longest-standing residential estate agency-and he embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Known for his creative flair, unique ideas, and sharp business acumen, Nigel has been instrumental in shaping Hern & Crabtree into the thriving company it is today.
Owen is our friendly and driven Branch Manager of our bustling Llandaff office. Born and raised in Llandaff, Owen knows the area inside out. He started his career with a corporate agency but found his true home with Hern & Crabtree in 2013. Owen's energy and leadership are key to the office's success, and his vibrant personality keeps things lively and fun every day!
