Founded in 1999 Concept Sails started as a sail repair workshop but as kite and windsurfing surfing grew we quickly adapted to repairing these as well. In 2004 we moved to Poole in Dorset to be amongst one of the most popular locations for wind and kite sports in the UK and soon realised there were a lot more things we could fix and build. Our main focus is now not on watersports but textiles for outdoor hospitality areas, primarily giant commercial umbrellas. We now proudly build and supply to the trade around 500 replacement canopies a year along side pavement screens, retractable awning canvases, sail shades and bespoke wind stoppers... We make replacement giant umbrella covers from digital templates created to fit all the leading frame manufacturers. Covers for lesser popular frames are also produced but would require an old canopy for us to use as a template... We manufacture replacement covers and canopies for giant umbrellas and awnings
