After reading engineering at Southampton University, Simon began his working career in marketing for an engineering company. In 1993 he became a freelance artist and illustrator working in the world of Formula 1.
In 1998, having built his own website, he started designing for others and quickly established his reputation as a web designer. In 2001, he was contracted to design and manage the official website for the British Touring Car Championship, under the directorship of Richard West. This was followed by a number of other racing related sites.
Over the last 10 years he has also designed for the worlds of business, arts and music, and for the last few years has been working as a consultant designer for Direxion Ltd, working with a number of corporate and city bank clients.
Simon also finds time to continue his artistic career painting portraits and other works to commission. He also enjoys playing contemporary and classical guitar occasionally performing in jazz and function band settings.
