Dan joined Moreton & Partners in 2013 as Senior Quantity Surveyor quickly establishing himself as a key member of the Practice. Dan now holds the position of Associate Director within the senior management team.
Dan is a highly experienced quantity surveyor with over 20 years' industry experience and has worked across various sectors including utilities, infrastructure, marine, healthcare, education, and residential. An NEC accredited project manager with experience of acting for client as well as main contractor, Dan is highly regarded for his attention to detail and proactive professional approach.
Dan is fully conversant with NEC and JCT forms of contract and is experienced in implementing various procurement strategies covering low value maintenance works up to multi-million pound strategic projects.
Away from work, Dan is a keen sportsman and played hockey to a high level in his younger years. He is also an avid motorsports fan and can often be found loitering in a pitlane somewhere.

Marie has over 15 years' experience of responsible and progressive human resource and compliance management. Her professional experiences include executive level management, strategic program management, training/employee development, resource and budget forecasting, formalising quality management processes, and employee relations.
Marie's role within the company is varied, alongside HR, Finance, and Health and Safety, a key area of focus for Marie is to ensure all areas of the business comply with industry and regulatory standards to exceed our clients and partners expectations. Marie is enthusiastic about the environment and through review, planning, and reporting she has helped to develop the company's strategy to reduce the unavoidable impact our business activities have on the environment, with the end goal being to attain net zero status for Moreton & Partners.
In Marie's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her sons playing football, and taking long walks with Rosie the family's beagle.
Matthew has been with the Practice for almost ten years and has proved to be an invaluable member of the management team. Matt has successfully established long term relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues, made exceptional contributions to pre-existing teams and gained vast experience of working in a variety of environments both on and off site.
Matt is a founding Director of the Practice, delivering Quantity Surveying, Employer's Agent, Project Management, and Contract Administration services.
Graduating from Anglia University in 1992 with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Matt became a Chartered Surveyor in 1998. He worked for Stern & Woodford, Moreton and Padmore, ChandlerKBS and GPM Partnership before founding Moreton Consulting with James Moreton in 2001.

An approachable, reliable, professional chartered surveyor who adopts a determined approach to obtaining project solutions. Simon is capable of influencing project culture and defining project strategy. He has extensive experience of overcoming and resolving complex commercial challenges and is completely programme focused in achieving timely delivery of client outcomes. Simon undertakes the role of commercial lead on a number of frameworks held by Moreton & Partners.
