Humphrey Tovey

Mr Tovey joined his father, Arthur Tovey, in 1964; becoming the fifth generation of the family to join the business. After more than forty years of service, Mr Tovey passed the day-to-day running of the business over to his son James Tovey, who is the sixth generation of the family to join Tovey Bros. Mr Tovey enjoys spending time with his family in his spare time as well as watching rugby and cricket.

Joining his father Mr Tovey in 1997, James currently heads up the business. A seasoned Funeral Director with over 20 years of experience, James was central in establishing the bereavement group STEPS (Supporting Those Experiencing Personal Sadness). James is a Non-Executive Director of Golden Charter, one of the UK's leading funeral plan providers. In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his twin sons and wife, as well as following sports such as cricket, football and rugby.

Lisa Reid

Lisa spends her spare time shuttling her teenage daughter to sprinting events with Welsh Athletics where she is coached by colleague, Mark Roche, at Newport Harriers. When she's not doing this, she is chasing after her Cockapoo pup, Jessie. Lisa's first experience of Tovey Bros was 25 years ago when she helped her architect father install the stained glass window at Tovey's Chapel.

Paul has been in the funeral profession since 1998 and is Dip FAA qualified. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends especially his twin daughters, countryside walks with his dog, Barney, riding motorcycles and weekends away.

Roy Dale

Roy joined Tovey Bros in 1991 and over the three decades has provided a caring and friendly service as a funeral director, embalmer and manager. Roy took semi-retirement in 2018 but is actively involved in the serving families, albeit on a part-time basis. In his spare time, Roy enjoys the countryside, photography and dancing, as well as family life.

Stacey Bunce

Stacey has worked in the funeral profession most of her working life and enjoys socialising with friends, walking her two chihuahuas and spending time with her nieces and nephew.
