Big Plant Nursery was created over 20 years ago. We're a passionate team of horticulturalists dedicated to promoting, growing, sourcing and supplying hardy exotic, architectural and rare, exciting plants from the temperate regions around the world... Well, the home nursery grew and very soon I ran out of space. It was during the grey chilly winter of 1999 that Big Plant Nursery was born. I managed to find a site and rent a small area of an existing nursery. From those early days we have exhibited at shows all over the country, won a Gold Medal at Hampton Court and established Big Plant as one of the UK's foremost innovators in hardy exotic, architectural and mediterranean plants. The nursery is open 7 days a week, has a cosy ‘Jungle Tea Room' and continues to expand its range of exciting plants...
