A&D Motorcycles was established in March 1980 by Alan Shepherd. Over the years we have built up a good reputation across North Wales and the North West with a strong family feel. We are a one stop shop for all of your motorcycling needs. Offering nationwide delivery we have customers from Lands End to John O'Groats... Established in 1980, A&D Motorcycles was created by Alan Shepherd. After purchasing a new motorcycle, it ran out of petrol 3 miles away. When he eventually got home the oil light came on and after being continuously fobbed off by the dealership he thought "I can do better" and A&D Motorcycles was born 6 months later. He initially rented a 450 square foot unit on the Spencer Trading Estate in Denbigh for £25 per week. The drive he needed was a customer on the open day, saying I give it a month! In 1986 new premises were built across the road including a new workshop. Then in the year 2000 moved to our current premises a 5,800 square foot former animal feed warehouse.
