Alan Brooks

With a track record at Rotamec of over 20 years, Alan has progressed from working on the shop floor as mechanical engineer and motor rewind specialist. Subsequent stints as a works supervisor and a works manager were followed by his appointment as branch manager at Cheddar prior to taking on his current role. Throughout his career, Alan has been heavily involved in technical project work for customers in multiple sectors, bringing a wealth of expertise garnered from his hard work in the industry.

Brian Stone

Job Titles:
  • Branch Manager Exeter
A highly qualified mechanical engineer, Brian began his career at Avimo Ltd in the mid-1980s. After almost 28 years as a Director of an Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Company, he then moved on to the Manufacturing Industry as a Factory Manager. Brian joined Rotamec in May 2021 as Workshop Foreman and was promoted in January 2021 to Branch Manager overseeing all operational aspects at the fast-paced Exeter branch. Beyond these responsibilities, he manages branch performance and targets - working closely with senior management.

Claire Pearson - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Financial Director
Responsible for all financial aspects of Rotamec, Claire brings 27 years of industry experience to her role. Claire joined the business during its inception in 2000 and has played a key role in its expansion to 62 staff across three sites. Her responsibilities include revenue reporting, monitoring all transactions, improving financial processes, ensuring legislative compliance, payroll and companywide budgetary planning. She also supervises her financial team, helping to facilitate day to day operations at Rotamec. Additionally, Claire maintains positive relationships with service providers and contractors, such as banks and accountants.

Fiona James

Job Titles:
  • Branch Manager South Wales
Fiona started with the Rotamec group in April 2022, with over 20 year's industry experience including MRO environment she brings a wealth of experience to the branch. Fiona is responsible for all day-to-day repair and sales jobs that pass through the branch including project work across South Wales.

Harriot Cullen

Job Titles:
  • Group Marketing Director / Marketing Engineering
has long been Harriot's specialty, having cut her teeth at an established compressor/vacuum manufacturer. Responsible for everything marketing related at Rotamec, including strategy and content generation, Harriot has organically grown publicity surrounding the business to create new opportunities and enable expansion. Having worked at Rotamec for 7 years, Harriot also manages marketing for key distribution partners of the business.

Matthew Weeks

Job Titles:
  • Group Stock Control & Supply Chain Manager
In his role, Matthew is responsible for controlling stock levels, receiving spares, customer items and organising deliveries. Extensive experience working in the motor trade as a parts advisor provided perfect preparation for managing inventory and logistics. Matthew worked at a Vauxhall dealership for seven years and a Mercedes centre for eight years, before moving to the Mercedes commercial truck department for a further two years. After 17 years in the motor trade, he changed career path, joining Rotamec as a store assistant before being appointed as manager.

Paul Pearce

  • Group Sales & Operations Director
Paul is responsible for the entire sales process and structuring at Rotamec. Having chosen sales as a career path in his mid-twenties, Paul spent two years working in Germany, where he learnt German as a second language. Then, Paul progressed to the role of sales director, growing businesses to annual turnovers of millions. Joining Rotamec in July 2019, he is responsible for three branches as well as 11 sales and marketing staff - with the aim to exponentially grow the business over the next two years.

Simon Brooks - Managing Director

After a successful career working for multiple engineering companies, Simon founded Rotamec in May 2000. In the space of 20 years, Simon has expanded Rotamec from one-man to an organisation of 65 employees with branches operating throughout the UK. Having implemented a 24/7, 365 days-a-year service from the very beginning, he has been involved in every aspect of Rotamec during its growth. Championing an adaptable service and opportunities for young engineers, Simon has overseen a strategy of sustainable reinvestment that has brought success to the company he started.
