Axe Skip Hire was started in 1985 by John Bostock and his wife Jane. They started with just one lorry and 20 skips. Over the years they built up the family business and were joined by their son James in 1997. Today, the successful business located in Kilmington, employs 12 staff with five lorries and operates as a waste transfer station. Sadly in 2009 John, who was well known locally, lost his two year battle against cancer. The business was then passed onto John's son James, who now runs it with his wife Karen and daughter Juliette... Celebrating 40 Years in 2025 since Axe Skip Hire started trading. Skip Hire Services based in Axminster, serving Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
