I have a business degree from London Metropolitan University and am involved with the overall running of the nursery.
As a working mother of two young children I understand the importance of finding excellent childcare. I was not happy with the large, corporate nurseries that were lacking in warmth which seemed to be the norm when searching for childcare and am now proud to be part of the Kidz Inc ‘home from home' ethos. The nursery believes that children learn best in a happy, secure environment and we strive to provide this every day.
I have over 40 years' involvement in childcare experiencing all aspects, as a parent, a nursery practitioner, foster carer and child-minder. During this time I have worked hard to obtain both childcare and business qualifications.
Ellie has been working with children and young people for around 8 years and previously worked in our Toddler Room back in 2016. Ellie has since been working with young people 16+ but is back to support within the Early Years sector. Ellie holds a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Qualification, along with various administration and management skills and qualifications. You will find her working alongside Rachel and the Directors as our Assistant Nursery Manager.
Little Oaks was opened in October 1990 by Fareham College and was originally registered for 18 children. Their nursery building was a dental clinic before it was converted into a nursery. Fareham college opened another nursery in 1993 called Leonora Nursery.
