Richard has over 20 years of experience as a website developer, software engineer, business analyst and project manager. Richard founded Codeface in 1999.
He recently completed his second (and Brighton's second) Marathon, and following a few weeks of muttering 'never again' is toying with the idea of running again next year...
Richard McGregor, CEO of Codeface has over 20 years of experience as a website developer, software engineer, business analyst, database designer and project manager.
Richard founded Codeface in 1999 having graduated in Computer Science at St John's College, Cambridge in 1992.
Richard has delivered many successful web projects for Codeface's clients in the public, voluntary and private sectors.
Richard is responsible for the day to day running of Codeface, and personally oversees all projects, ensuring the websites we deliver are polished, reliable and speedy.
In his twenty-plus years of software development, Richard has rolled up his sleeves and coded in dozens of different programming environments ranging from low-level assembly languages to modern frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
These days his favourite part of the job is translating a set of requirements into an elegant system design (especially when it involves UML diagrams!) but he still gets involved in a bit of hands-on HTML-ing and Ruby on Rails coding from time to time.
