Laplacian was formed in 2002 by Dr Peter S Aptaker with 30 years experience in magnet technology and design. Peter's involvement in NMR magnet systems started when he took charge of the technical design software for Oxford (NMR) Instruments (1985-1992). He was a co-founder and Research Director of Resonance Instruments Limited (1993-2002) responsible for their large range of permanent magnets, shims and gradient systems.
