ADA MACHINING SERVICES - Key Persons
Dave joined the ADA family in September 2015 coming from an extensive engineering background.
Starting his working life as an apprentice with Holroyd Machine Tools gaining a HNC Level 2 qualification alongside his Modern Apprenticeship, Dave has always strived to achieve the best results.
After qualifying from his Apprenticeship in 2000 as a precision grinder, Dave attended several training courses over the coming years to become proficient in the programming of Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol user interfaces before progressing to become a Production Manager.
His great knowledge of technical design is a valuable asset to any Company, and ADA are proud to have him as part of their Team.
Garry joined the company in August 2020. He began his career in 1979 as an apprentice turner working at Firth Brown Castings in Scunthorpe.
He continued working at the site until its closure in February 2020, some 41 years later. In that time, he gained experience in managerial positions and at the time of its closure he was in the position of After Cast Manager. In this role he oversaw every process from the knockout section. This included, Fettling, Heat Treatment, Welding, Machining, Induction Hardening and Inspection.
With his career spanning 40 + years Garry brings a wealth of Engineering experience and is employed to develop new business to ADA.

Lee has been part of the ADA Workforce since 1985. Starting out as an apprentice on the Horizontal boring machines.
After successfully gaining his Apprenticeship qualification in 1989, he continued as a machine setter/operator for the next 8 years.
