Amelia joined Amadeus Capital Partners in 2009 and is a Partner in the Early Stage Fund. Her current investment focus is on AI & Cybersecurity, Photonics & Quantum, Digital Health & MedTech and Novel Materials. She is a Director on several boards including Xampla, who have developed a plant-based material to replace single-use plastics; iPronics who are building the world's first programmable photonic processor; Riverlane a developer of the operating system for error corrected quantum computers and SLAMcore, a spin-out from Imperial College, developing spatial intelligence for autonomous robotics and drones. Amelia is also an active board observer at other companies including enterprise voice assistant company PolyAI and Graphcore, the developer of the Intelligence Processing Unit for next generation machine intelligence and Paragraf, the first company to mass produce graphene-based electronic devices. Prior to Amadeus, she worked at Barclays Investment Bank as a manager in the structured capital markets team with responsibility for running a portfolio of multi-jurisdiction transactions. Amelia has also worked in structured finance at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in London in the corporate tax department. Ana Bernardo-Gancedo

Ana joined Amadeus in 2020 and is an Associate in the Early Stage Funds team focussing on Healthcare. Prior to joining Amadeus, Ana worked in a top-tier management consulting firm in London, where she conducted due diligence and strategy projects for a variety of private equity and corporate clients. Whilst studying Ana also worked on a number of projects at the Cambridge Consulting Network (CCN). Ana is Spanish and holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. She has lived and worked both in Germany and the US, and speaks Spanish and English.

Andreas Riegler

Andreas joined forces with Amadeus in 2023 and focuses on early stage deep tech investments with a special excitement for new developments in space technology and AI models across multiple industries. Andreas co-leads the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund. In 2017 he co-founded APEX Ventures, a Europe-based early stage VC firm, and is passionate about supporting portfolio companies at an early stage to help them find commercial traction and turn them into global organisations. Andreas holds multiple board roles in portfolio companies including chairing the board of contextflow, a leading radiology AI company. Previously he led the management buyout of a leading Digital Games distribution company from Sony Corporation and led the team to a successful exit. As a senior executive at Sony Corporation in the US, the UK and Germany, Andreas helped establish a global technology service company from scratch that was later acquired by Deluxe Media Inc. Andreas holds a Masters degree in Engineering and Business Administration from Graz University of Technology and also completed an International Business program at Harvard University. Anne Glover - CEO, Founder

Anne co-founded Amadeus in 1997 with Hermann Hauser. Building on her scientific training and operating experience, Anne has been a venture capitalist for over 30 years and has been investing in emerging markets for 15 years. Early in her career Anne lived in the USA, working in manufacturing with Cummins Engine Company and in strategy consulting with Bain & Co, before returning to the United Kingdom to join Apax Partners in 1989 to invest in early stage companies. She became COO of one of her investee companies, Virtuality Group, after it listed on the LSE in 1993, and then returned to investing as a business angel before founding Amadeus in 1997. A former Chairman of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and Invest Europe, Anne was appointed Non-Executive Director of the Court of the Bank of England in 2018 and in 2019 became a member of the Investment Committee of Yale Corporation, which is responsible for oversight of the Yale University Endowment. In 2021, Anne was appointed as an external member of the Venture Capital Investment Committee of British International Investment, the UK's development finance institution. Anne holds an MA degree in Metallurgy & Materials Science from University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management. She was awarded a CBE in 2006 for services to business and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2021. Beatriz Amary

Beatriz joined Amadeus in 2020 to work on the emerging market activities of the firm. Before joining Amadeus, Beatriz was part of the team that launched Actis's office in São Paulo in 2007. She was the director leading the investments in the Consumer, Retail, Healthcare and Education sectors in Latin America. She also headed Actis' global efforts in the Education sector, leveraging her education expertise in all emerging markets. Beatriz led several investments in Brazil, including CNA, an English Language Training company; Cruzeiro do Sul, an in-class and distance learning post-secondary education provider; and Scarlat, a branded cleaning product producer. She was also a member of the deal team for the investment in CSD, a food retail chain. Beatriz served as a board member at CNA, Cruzeiro do Sul and Scarlat. Prior to joining Actis, Beatriz was at JP Morgan for over four years, first as an M&A analyst and then as a private equity associate based in New York (focusing on Latin America) and in Brazil. After her MBA, Beatriz worked at Johnson & Johnson. She is a graduate of Fundação Getúlio Vargas and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Carl Dickinson - Chief Legal Officer

Carl joined Amadeus Capital Partners in 2015. He has responsibility for Amadeus' legal, regulatory and related administrative affairs. Prior to joining Amadeus, Carl was a legal counsel at Balderton Capital. Before that, he was a senior associate at international law firm SJ Berwin where he principally advised venture capital and private equity houses on their investment and M&A activity. Carl attended Nottingham Law School and holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick. He is a Solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales.

Christina Theilgaard

Christina joined Amadeus in 2021 and is responsible for all aspects of Investor Relations. Prior to Amadeus, Christina was Investor Relations Manager at Rothschild & Co's private markets division in London. In this role, she was responsible for Investor Relations for the firm's 7bn platform, as well as fundraising from Nordic HNWs, family offices, and institutional clients. Previously she was with Man Group's fund-of-fund business, FRM, working in the London-based Client Servicing team. Christina began her career in London at the Winton Group focussing on Marketing and PR. Christina studied at the University of Cambridge, where she graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Law. She speaks fluent English, Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian.

Hermann Hauser

Hermann co-founded Amadeus Capital Partners in 1997 with Anne Glover. In his long and successful history as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Hermann has founded or co-founded companies in a wide range of technology sectors. These include Acorn Computers (where he helped spin out ARM), Active Book Company, Virata, Net Products, NetChannel and Cambridge Network. He was a founder director of IQ (Bio), IXI Limited, Vocalis, SynGenix, Advanced Displays Limited, acquired by Cambridge Display Technology, Electronic Share Information Limited, E*Trade UK and has supported many other start-ups. Hermann's successes at Amadeus include CSR plc (LON: CSR); Entropic Research Laboratory, acquired by Microsoft in 1999; Solexa, acquired by Illumina in 2007 and Icera, acquired by Nvidia in 2011. He is currently a non-executive director of XMOS and is the Amadeus representative at Graphcore, the creators of the Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU), a processor specifically designed for artificial intelligence. Hermann holds an MA in Physics from Vienna University and a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and an Honorary Fellow of King's College, Cambridge. James Baker

James joined Amadeus in 2019 and is an Associate in the Amadeus Digital Prosperity Fund and secondary funds team focussing on growth stage activities. James is qualified as a chartered accountant and joined Amadeus from Deloitte where he worked as a financial audit manager. Whilst at Deloitte James had a particular focus on high growth technology-enabled and biotechnology businesses, supporting his clients with M&A, IPO readiness, and post-IPO process implementation. Prior to this James began his career at BDO, also within financial audit. James holds an LLB in Law with French Law and Language from the University of East Anglia. Manjari Chandran-Ramesh

She is a Director on several boards including Ravelin, NuQuantum, Seldon, and Tenzo. Manjari started her career in academia as a researcher and college lecturer in the University of Oxford, before moving to technology transfer at the University, responsible for commercialising intellectual property. From there she moved to Venture investing, working at IP Group plc, where she managed technology investments from deal origination to exit, and was responsible for the trade sale of TheySay Ltd (emotional AI acquired by Aptean), secondary share sale exit in Concirrus Ltd (insurance tech), and sourcing and working with the founding team to build Quantum Motion Ltd (Quantum Computing in Silicon). Manjari created and led IP Group's Quantum Technologies investment strategy and set-up an initial £12m accelerator fund that was run in exclusive partnership with Innovate UK. Manjari joined Class 28 of the Kauffman Fellows Programme in May 2023 and holds a PhD from the University of Oxford in Machine Learning and Autonomous Vehicles, which she did on a Rhodes Scholarship. Pat Burtis

Pat joined Amadeus in 2006 and is a Partner focusing on high tech companies in Latin America, the US, and Europe. He is based in San Francisco. Currently Pat works with Descomplica, Creditas and GreenRoad. He has also worked closely with Bidu, AMEE, Transmode (TRMO.ST), Tobii (STO:TOBII), ClickTale, GlySure and Magnetic. In 2010-2011, Pat was seconded to GreenRoad as interim CFO and CEO. Pat began his career with five years in Bain & Co's Boston office, where he advised clients in the telecoms, financial services, insurance, steel, automotive, PCs, and FMCG industries. From 1997-2004, Pat was an independent consultant in the cleantech, high tech, health care and materials fields. Additional past roles include Director of Finance and Operations for H2onsite, a California-based hydrogen start-up, and Practice Area Fellow at McKinsey & Co. She is a professional venture capital investor and angel since 2014 and has led and co-led more than 20 investments in deeptech including health and biotech. Susanne was previously a Partner at Verve Ventures. She has served as board member or observer on several of her portfolio companies such as: CREAL, a leader in lightfield technology for VR and AR; antibody discovery platform MemoTherapeutics; high throughput organism-on-chip animal testing alternative Nagi Bioscience; retinal biomarker company Earlysight, AI assisted diagnostics provider Medimaps; breakthrough oral delivery system plaform Biograil and next generation gene therapy company Somagenetix. His current investment focus is on artificial intelligence & machine learning, human-machine interfaces, enterprise SaaS, autonomous systems, digital health and medical technologies. Volker is an entrepreneur who has founded and co-founded seven companies to date. He is currently a co-founder of Blue Beck, a mobile development house, and the Chairman of Advantage Creative as well as the co-founder of Tech North Advocates, championing the case for technology in the North of England. As an angel investor, Volker was amongst the first investors in companies including Pi-Top, Aula Education, Yoto and Bibblio (where he is now Chairman). Previously, Volker was Chief Strategy Officer at Scoreloop, a mobile social gaming platform, which he helped grow to 450m users at its peak. After its acquisition by BlackBerry in 2011, he served as BlackBerry's Global Head of Business Development - Games, responsible for launching the gaming proposition for its BlackBerry 10 platform. Volker started his career as a corporate lawyer with Luther in Hamburg. Wolfgang Neubert

He has been with APEX Ventures since 2017 where he leads and co-leads the investment activities of its early-stage deep-tech portfolios. Wolfgang holds non-executive board and chairman positions at various companies in Austria and Germany working, among others, on photonics, AR/VR, quantum technologies, autonomous systems and robotics, airborne and space technologies as well as AI and machine learning. Previously Wolfgang co-led two Austrian SMEs as Executive Management Board member and supported various start-ups as Senior Advisor. He also worked as an Associate and Partner at McKinsey & Company for 12 years, serving clients in the automotive, aerospace and high-tech industry in strategy and operations, specifically product development and large-scale transformation.
