Colin built the business from scratch, and in the ever changing environment since that point he has made certain his staff are kept highly trained and knowledgeable of any forthcoming changes which may affect how the service is delivered. Dedicated to providing a timely and cost effective service, means a high quality end result is always achieved... UT uses high frequency sound energy to evaluate a variety of materials to produce vital information. It's typically used for flaw detection, dimensional measurements and to determine surface thickness. At Cobalt we are capable of carrying out UT on a range of products including welds, plate, pipe, T joints, nozzles, nodes, forgings and wrought products... We offer a wide range of NDT services so that we can meet all our customer's requirements, all of which can be carried out either onsite or at our workshop.
