Amy has been with Temple since 2001 and is a founding member of the TOPS team. She supported developers in producing the straightforward TOPS quote/policy process you see today and continues to assist with its evolution.
She provides underwriting support for the Commercial ATE team. She also manages our underwriting assistants.
Amy is committed to providing the highest levels of service for Temple's customers and her role includes the swift and efficient creation of quotes, issuance of policies and fielding of enquiries.
She is currently studying the CILEX exams to develop her knowledge of the legal system.'

Andy has worn many hats in the legal services sector for nearly thirty years and is our Senior Business Development Manager. Based in our Bristol office but working nationwide, Andy enjoys meeting existing and potential clients ready to discuss our ATE insurance and disbursement funding products.
He will listen to your requirements and work with you and liaise with our team to ensure we add value to your business - develop opportunities, overcoming obstacles and steering you in the right direction are Andy's stock-in-trade.
Working predominantly in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, Andy is also pleased to talk to you about our BTE Employment Protection Schemes plus our personal injury and clinical negligence ATE Insurance and disbursement funding products.
Callum is a Claims Handler, responsible for performing the administrative duties for insurance claims at Temple.
He joined in 2023 as part of a work experience program while studying law in his A-levels at a local college. During this period, Callum engaged with various teams across the organisation, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal insurance sector.
On completion of his A-levels, Callum was offered a position full-time in September 2023. He has a keen interest in the field of law and is looking forward to developing his industry knowledge further.
Catherine joined Temple in 2019 and works as a Financial Analyst as part of the the Business Support Team.
She achieved a high A-Level grade in law, which has helped give her a deeper understanding of her role, the business, and its clients.
She has developed her financial analysis expertise through her experience working within the Business Support team thus enabling her to develop her skill set further.
Catherine is responsible for assisting with the monthly reconciliation of Temple's accounts and works closely with the Finance Director to ensure our accounting of premiums is accurate and up to date.
She also assists with credit control and provides support across departments where needed and this is where Catherine takes real pride in delivering to a high level.
She hopes to continue to build expertise across the company, to help her achieve both personal and business goals.

With 8 years of diverse administration experience spanning multiple industries, including Tech, Travel, Car Finance, and the Mortgage sector, she's honed her ability to effectively engage and cultivate relationships with customers and consumers across various sectors. Having lived in both Australia and Canada, she's navigated different work cultures and environments, showcasing her adaptability and versatility. Her commitment to delivering exceptional service and experiences to all customers remains unwavering.

David joined Temple in 2015 having previously been an underwriter for another ATE insurance provider for nearly 9 years dealing with all aspects of personal injury work.
David's experience allows him to undertake a key role in Temple's ATE insurance personal injury and clinical negligence teams. He also participates in the assessments of delegated schemes that Temple provide with the objective of helping our customers make the most of the products and services Temple has to offer.
David has a LLB honours degree in law and also completed the Legal Practice Course at Guildford College of Law obtaining a commendation. He has worked as a personal injury case handler for 2 firms of solicitors post-graduation before moving into LEI.
Fraser is a Senior Underwriter within the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Commercial teams.
Fraser joined Temple in May 2022 following the completion of his LLM Laws degree at University College London. Before that, he graduated in 2021 with a First-Class LLB Law (Hons) degree from the University of Leicester. Alongside his role at Temple, he currently studies part-time at City, University of London on the Bar Vocational Studies course with the assistance of various scholarships.
Fraser's academic background has given him a vast knowledge base in numerous areas of law, which allows him to be versatile in dealing with whatever legal issues may arise. He strives to provide support throughout the legal process through a speedy, efficient and accurate underwriting service.

Jamela qualified as a Solicitor specialising in litigation. She has extensive experience specialising in commercial, construction, inheritance and insolvency claims. She has also worked at RSA as a Team Leader.
Jamela has joined the commercial team as a Senior Underwriter in 2023 and is very much looking forward to using her litigation and insurance experience to support Temple's customers with market leading products and services.
Jeanette is an experienced Executive Assistant, highly organised and adaptable with a wide level of experience developed within a variety of roles and industries, covering HR, travel, project support, project reporting, time keeping, purchasing, invoicing, finance and customer services.
Jeanette is skilled in Operations Management, Facility Management (FM), Team Building, Invoice Finance, and Project Coordination. A strong administrative professional with a BA (Hons) Arts with a specific interest in History.

Joanne joined Temple in 2000 after achieving a law degree at Birmingham and Diploma in Legal Practice at Nottingham Law School. Whilst working at Temple she has continued her academic qualifications achieving a distinction in the CII Diploma in Insurance.
Her experience of underwriting a variety of litigation risks and dealing with claims means that our customers have the benefit of her broad knowledge of the application of insurance principles.
She has played a key role in developing Temple's delegated authority schemes to provide our customers with maximum flexibility and authority to meet their clients' needs.
She complements this customer focus with a responsibility to maintain our business relationship with our insurance provider.

John joined Temple in 2022 and brings with him over 19 years' experience in the legal expenses industry, with 17 of these specifically relating to ATE insurance.
As Senior Business Development Manager, John's role has him covering the breadth of the UK, meeting with Temple's existing business partners as well as establishing new business relationships. Whilst his primary focus is growing and developing our clinical negligence and personal injury offerings, which can include disbursement funding, he is also very able to discuss Temple's commercial and BTE products.
John is well known in the industry for making business partners feel at ease when they meet. He prides himself on understanding customers' needs and being able to work collaboratively, which frequently results in established working relationships for many years.
Jonathan joined Temple Legal Protection in 2014 having worked in the claims industry for over 14 years.
His previous experience includes working within the credit hire industry working for a leading credit hire organisation. He also has a wealth of experience in the Personal Lines insurance sector working for large well-known Motor Insurers.
Throughout Jonathan's time at Temple he has developed his career through providing Business Support/Credit Control Services to providing operational support to the company.
It is with this wealth of knowledge and experience that he will deliver effective operational support for Temple Legal Protection, with a professional and friendly approach that will help support the company and our clients alike.

Konrad has a degree in Law from University of Gdansk (Poland) and he also completed his bar vocational course there, during which he was awarded with the Dean's Prize for the best exam mark in civil law and civil litigation. He qualified as an advocate and currently holds their practicing certificate as Legal Counsel.
Konrad is a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales and has worked for numerous law firms and Insurers in the UK for over a decade.
Prior to joining Temple, Konrad worked in both ATE and BTE departments for a variety of leading Insurers and was a Head of Litigation department of personal injury law firm.
His insurance background combined with his proven track record as a litigator allows him to provide Temple's customers with the highest level of service and support in his role as Technical Underwriting Manager.

Laurence started at Temple Legal Protection in 2006 where he was IT Manager until 2017, when promotion to Operations Director saw him join the board of the company. This was followed in June 2019 with his appointment as Managing Director to succeed Chris Wait, the founding MD. Following in those footsteps was a challenge relished by Laurence, and one with the full support of Chris, who became Chairman of the board of directors.
Laurence's hands-on experience at the heart of the business running the IT systems over many years and his proven expertise in a fast-moving ATE/litigation insurance market has contributed to the respected position in the market place Temple now occupies.
Resting on laurels is not Laurence's style. His passion and determination to provide market-leading legal expenses insurance products and a total commitment to customer service for partner law firms and brokers put him in the ideal position to lead the business.
Prominent litigators, contemporaries and colleagues speak of Laurence's sound commercial judgement, technical excellence and agility in product development - all backed by a commitment to robust underwriting principles. This has led to Temple building long-term commercial relationships with leading law firms in the commercial litigation, clinical negligence and personal injury sectors.
Laurence is a Chartered Insurance Underwriting Agent, and associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Lia joined Temple in 2024 and works as an Operations Analyst as part of the Business Support team.
With more than 10 years of experience mainly in finance, business management and IT, she has developed her expertise in Business Intelligence, processes and procedures.
Lia is responsible for providing support in reporting and improvements across the business, as well as innovations enabling ways for the business to grow, automate and improve efficiency.
She aims to continue to develop her skillset and expertise, improving all areas across the business, and enabling further growth and efficiency.

Lisa has many years' experience in the Legal Insurance industry, having worked for both DAS Legal Expenses and ARAG Legal Services. She has extensive knowledge of both the BTE and ATE markets, and a great insight into the inner workings of a legal firm due to her vast experience as an auditor. Lisa is used to working closely with solicitors to develop and maintain good working relationships, leading to positive partnerships for all parties.
Lisa joined Temple in 2017 as the Solicitor Services Manager to manage the internal and external review process, as well as overseeing our BTE panel arrangements.
In 2022, Lisa was promoted to Head of Solicitor Services & Quality Assurance to further cement her senior position within the company and to continue to drive our quality control procedures throughout the business forwards as the company grows. She further acquired the responsibility of managing our Underwriting Support Team to help drive our continued development plan for aspiring Underwriters.
Lisa is focused on ensuring that the quality of service provided by Temple remains at the highest standard.
As well as her main responsibilities, Lisa oversees our charitable endeavours and is the company Mental Health First Aider, taking an active role in ensuring the Health & Wellbeing of our staff.

Mandy joined Temple in 2014 as Senior Underwriting Assistant within the Underwriting Support Team and has recently been promoted to Assistant Underwriting Support Manager.
Mandy's role is to provide support to the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team by issuing quotations, policies and endorsements, organising and attending external reviews, and contributing to the smooth running of the team. In addition Mandy also assists with the day to day administration in respect of Temple Funding.
She brings with her nine years of experience with a previous ATE provider. Mandy has recently gained her Certificate in Insurance and is now Cert CII.

Matt has an insurance background and joined Temple in 2011 having worked for 4 years in a leading insurance company where he was dealing with personal injury work. Matthew was promoted to Underwriting Manager and subsequently Senior Underwriting Manager taking on overall responsibility for Temple's personal injury and clinical negligence underwriting department.
In 2022 Matt joined the board of directors as Director of ATE Partnerships. Matthew has cultivated fantastic relationships with our business partners for many years. His ability to build a clear understanding of their requirements and more importantly what is required to fulfil such requirements means he is ideally placed to support the strategic direction of the company.
Matt remains the head of the personal injury and clinical negligence department and is committed to all Temple's business partners in order to deliver the highest level of service they expect. He is also responsible in making sure that Temple's ATE and disbursement funding products remain competitive, but most importantly that they are fit for purpose for solicitors and their clients.

Matthew was called to the Bar in 1984 and joined Guildford Chambers two years later. Spending more than 30 years in practice there, he was listed as a Legal 500 Tier One barrister.
He joined the commercial team at Temple Legal Protection as Senior Underwriting Manager in 2017.
Matthew was appointed to Temple's Board in December 2022 as Legal Director and Head of Commercial.
His knowledge of the commercial legal sector and litigation practice is invaluable to the business and our clients, providing specialist experience to lead the commercial litigation insurance team.
Morag has an experienced legal background having worked for over 3 years in a Surrey law firm where she was dealing with personal injury and clinical negligence work along with some dispute resolution work.

Nina is a Business and Claims Support Administrator at Temple Legal Protection.
Before joining Temple, she worked within the Medical/Legal sector as a Corporate Client Section Leader. Her previous management experience working for a healthcare company, funded by personal injury claims, lends to her knowledge and understanding of her current role.
Nina has a B.S.C in Psychology, and before relocating to the UK she was a Statistical Analyst within a Psychology Research Lab working on a large-scale study.
She is a very ambitious individual and intends to have a long and successful career at Temple.
Oliver is a Trainee Underwriter, having joined Temple in 2022 as an Underwriting Support Assistant. He holds a LLB in Law, having graduated from the University of Exeter in 2020. This enables him to understand the background and legal issues relevant to the cases referred into Temple, ensuring he will be able to make efficient and accurate decisions.
He is now working towards becoming an Underwriter, where he will work with both the Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Team and the Commercial Team. Alongside his training, he continues to support the Underwriters with administrative work, as well as assisting clients with any queries.
Peter has spent 40 years as a Personal Injury Lawyer specialising in all types of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence litigation. He has worked solely as a claimant litigator pursuing industrial accidents, asbestos disease cases and a mixture of clinical negligence cases.
He has been involved in numerous multi-track cases and has won compensation for his clients in excess of 10 million pounds. Peter specialised in industrial accidents in the workplace for a number of years whilst working with Evill and Coleman, Seifert Sedley Williams and Lawfords, building up a reputation as someone who ensures the client always comes first.
He went onto to manage his own Legal Services company whilst a Consultant with Scott-Moncrieff, Harbour and Sinclair and more recently Amwells solicitors.
Peter has been successfully running his business for 15 years and joined Temple as a Senior Underwriter in 2017.
As a Senior Underwriter within the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team Peter is responsible for assessing risks along with the day to day enquiries relating to existing policies.
He is also available to help with any underwriting questions to ensure customers are getting the best out of their ATE and funding products.

Priti joined Temple Legal Protection in 2023 as an underwriting support assistant. Priti has a rich background in the financial industry, that boasts a comprehensive skill set as a Mortgage, Insurance and Estates Planning Adviser.
With over eight years of experience in the financial industry and a 13-year history in a customer-focused environment, Priti brings a unique perspective to the role of underwriting assistant.
Holding a CII certification and a degree in business studies with law, Priti brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and hands-on experience to support the underwriting process.
Before joining Temple Roger worked alongside the litigation department at one of the country's leading providers of credit hire. During this time he developed in-depth knowledge of the legal aspects governing SDP and licensed vehicle credit hire, dealing with the recovery of high value and complex cases.
Prior to this he had experience working in international sales and business development, understanding the importance of satisfying client need whilst facilitating the best outcome for the business.
In his role as a claims handler, Roger is involved in managing claims from beginning to end, assessing their validity and ensuring that claims made against Temple policies are handled quickly, fairly and professionally.
Roger is looking forward to working towards professional qualifications in order to develop his industry knowledge.

Sarah joined the insurance industry in 2013 as an account executive for a national insurance broker, and has over 10 years' experience in the account management and development area.
While developing extensive knowledge of working with customers, from large corporates, associations and affinity groups, to personal lines and high net worth customers, Sarah had the opportunity to grow deep relationships with underwriters across a number of insurance providers.
Sarah takes great job satisfaction in building strong relationships with clients and business partners and has experience of working with a wide range of insurance products, in the personal lines and commercial sectors.
Joining Temple Legal Protection as a Legal Expenses Development Manager, helping Temple's ethos of providing a high level of customer service, Sarah provides support internally and externally, assisting with on-boarding and policy distribution, through to external visits and account reviews. Sarah's aim is to ease the process from the beginning and throughout the insurance journey.

Sean started his insurance career in 1994 and has been specifically involved in Legal Expenses since 1997. Over a long career specialising in legal expenses, he has worked as an underwriter, sales executive and relationship manager.

As a relationship manager, Sean has a strong focus on customer service and a desire to get the best outcomes for our clients and works closely with our business partners to achieve this.

Sevim joined Temple Legal in 2024.She is a highly experienced insurance professional with over 10 years of expertise in the industry including a strong background in personal accident claims and a dedication to delivering outstanding results.
Throughout her career, Sevim has demonstrated exceptional skills in efficiently managing and resolving complex insurance claims. Her commitment to providing exceptional customer service ensures that clients receive fair and timely settlements. Sevim possesses extensive knowledge of insurance policies, regulations and industry best practices, allowing her to accurately assess claims and negotiate settlements.
One of Sevim's key strengths is her attention to detail and organisational skills. They are adept at mitigating fraud risks and ensuring the accuracy of claim assessments. Shelley joined Temple just after finishing her Graduate Diploma in Law, which converted her teaching qualification into a law degree.

Sona, who is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, joined Temple in 2008 after 21 years of carrying client responsibility in practice. She worked with commercial businesses, City of London livery companies, charities and pension funds. As well as these organisations, she provided Temple with audit, budgeting, cash flow, management information and accountancy services. She, therefore, has a sound knowledge of the business environment in which Temple operates.
Her wide knowledge and experience means that she is a key contributor to Temple's commitment to ensure that our customers receive timely and meaningful data to assist them with their own internal financial procedures.

Sophie joined Temple in 2023 and assists in the Business Support Team.
Previously working as an Administrator at Guildford Family & County Court, she has experience within Legal Administration, understanding how to effectively communicate and provide good customer service to all types of consumers as well as working to strict deadlines.
Sophie has a fine attention to detail and takes pride in providing a high quality service to our consumers.
In the near future, she plans to further her professional education by studying LLB Law.
Steve has a bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth and joined Temple in 2016. He has a wealth of experience in marketing project management, website development and knowledge of the insurance industry.
Sukhbir has an LLB honours degree in Law, she also completed the Legal Practice Course obtaining a Commendation.
She qualified as a Solicitor in 2020, she has worked in the personal injury sector for over a decade.
She joined the Commercial team at Temple Legal Protection as an Underwriter, in 2023.
Prior to joining Temple, Sukhbir worked in the Serious Injury team doing multi track work at a leading Law firm, dealing with injuries arising from road traffic accidents, accidents in the work place and public.
Her background has led her to have an interest in risk insurance.

Having completed internships at the European Commission in Brussels and the World Trade Organisation in Geneva, Tadgh went on to qualify as a practising solicitor in 2008.
Tadgh spent more than 18 years in private legal practice with Pearts Solicitors, Dublin where he was primarily involved in property disputes, personal injury, medical negligence, judicial review, high value commercial residential property transactions, and trust and probate planning.
Tadgh joined Temple Legal Protection Ireland as Senior Underwriting Manager in 2024 to head up Temple Legal Protection's expansion into the Irish and European markets.
His knowledge of the commercial legal sector and litigation practice is invaluable to the business and our clients in Ireland, providing specialist local knowledge and experience to our solicitor clients.

Taffy Kuzipa Taffy is an underwriting support assistant within the Personal Injury team. Before joining Temple, Taffy worked as a caseworker for a non-profit organisation. Interacting with different people and working in various areas of law allows her to deal with any ATE enquiries and general underwriting issues that may arise. Taffy graduated in 2018 with a 2.1 LLB Law (Hons) degree from Oxford Brookes University. Her academic background has led to her interest in legal insurance and working for Temple.
Tommie works as an experienced Senior IT Technician.
She has a bounty of experience from previous employment at other companies, including working in IT within the fin-tech, communications, digital transformation and cloud industries.
She has worked in IT providing high level technical support and specialises in security and auditing. Her current role allows her to bridge the gap between IT and Underwriting.
In her role as Senior IT Technician, Tommie is focused on supporting the business with technical queries, supporting the IT Team and engaging in more technical tasks and projects for business streamlining, growth and security.
Tracey joined Temple in 2014, with experience of the claims industry within a credit hire company.
She has many years of customer service within the motor and credit hire industry, in which she has dealt with contracts, new business and motor claims.
Tracey understands the importance of providing excellent customer service and supports the claims department in providing a swift and efficient service for our coverholders.
She is aiming to study for a CILEx qualification in the near future which will further enhance Tracey's ability to support our customer's requirements.
