NPTA - Key Persons
Andy has been appointed as NPTA Director in September 2020. He brings 25 years' experience working for a Local Authority as a Coordinator, employed in various roles: Public Health, Environmental Protection, Environmental Enforcement and Pest Control. He sits on the NPAP panel. Andy also has a wealth of knowledge and experience in drainage defect investigations.
Colin has been appointed as NPTA director in August 2019. He brings with him 30+ years' experience in pest control, having worked for two National Companies and a North West Based Regional. He is now active with a distributor of pest control products, electronic fly killers and bird proofing solutions.
David has been appointed as NPTA director in August 2019. He brings with him a wealth of experience in deer management, rural fox control, as well as in the control of rabbits, squirrels and moles. He has 40 years experience in rifle shooting and is a great addition to the association.
20+ years as a Pest Technician for Amber Valley Borough Council including 5 years as a supervisor. Rabbit control for British Rail using ferrets and nets. Member of the NPTA shortly after its launch and later as a Director. Now semi retired.

Grahame is a qualified field biologist and works for the NPTA as a Technical Support Officer, providing training and technical support to members. He is keen to promote efficient, effective, professional, and environmentally sound pest control practices.
Grahame is familiar with pest control from many angles. He studied applied zoology and insect control at University; and he has worked in pest control operations (for National Pest Control), entomology research (for Wellcome Environmental health), pest consultancy and training (with ADAS), food production (with Heinz), bird proofing product development, technical support and training (with Network/Pelsis), pest control technical management (for Mitie/Terminix), and pest biologist inspections and training (with PestAcuity).
John Davison is one of the four founder members of the NPTA which was set up originally in John's spare bedroom back in 1993. He has always been dedicated to the Association giving most of his spare time while still holding down a full time pest control post. Retiring from his senior pest control position for a Leicestershire local authority in 2018, he worked as a technician for over thirty years.
John relinquished his CEO role to the Association in 2019, allowing the reorganisation and introduction of the new COO role to the NPTA. The creation of this new position is now allowing him and his wife Irene to undertake some renovation work at their home and enjoy a little free time. John is still actively involved on the Board of Directors, he also helps to organise the annual ‘PestTech' Exhibition, assist on training days and also makes the tea when needed. He will continue to promote both the Association and the UK pest control industry for the foreseeable future.
Martyn has a passion for his role in pest control being involved since 2001, and now heavily involved with Honey Bees and removals from various structures. He has over 20 colonies of bees across Derbyshire and is a committee member of a local Bee association. He joins the NPTA to offer advice and guidance for all members to benefit.
Neil was a self-employed pest technician with a wealth of experience dealing mainly in urban pest control. He joined the NPTA board of directors in 2005 and one of his main duties is helping and mentoring members who are new to the pest control industry.

Sabra is a valued member of the NPTA Board of directors, joining in January 2014 as Chairman till 2023. Sabra works for Killgerm Group in the role of Marketing & Public Affairs Director. Having worked in the Pest Control industry for over 20 years, she sits on the NPAP panel and Basis Prompt.
