The company is now based in a purpose built 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse and office unit at the northwest employment area at Fulwood, Preston near Junction 31A of the M6 (or Junction 1 on M55) in NW England. From that location, B Cookson Ltd serves much of the northern half of the UK distributing home grown produce and specialist products from across the world to an ever increasing Customer base... The family run company was founded in Lancashire during 1971 by Brian Cookson Senior with the help of his wife Margaret. Then, they operated from a ‘wagon stall' on Bow Lane Wholesale market, Preston selling home grown produce across the county.
