Ryedale Garages as the name suggests, first opened for business in 1946. Herbert Cook started the business selling and repairing cars and Bedford trucks, in 1953 Herbert opened the Vauxhall business and after successfully serving the community of Kirkbymoorside and beyond handed the raines over to his son, Stuart Cook. Today Ryedale Garages is still in the Cook family, John Cook, Herbert's Grandson, heads the team, many of whom have worked here for many years and witnessed many changes. Today the family values still run through the heart of the business, customer service is the most important thing and over the decades Ryedale Garages have won many awards, something the team here are very proud of...
