We bring together years of skilled experience, advanced sawmill technology and some of the most naturally durable home grown timber, sourced from sustainably managed UK Forests, to produce what many key customers maintain are high quality products and the best all-round service in the UK. Ransfords are certified to supply timber, pressure impregnated with preservatives, that meets the stringent demands of the Highways Agency... The main species used are Douglas Fir, Larch and Spruce, sourced from sustainably managed UK forests. We produce 50,000m 3 per annum of sawn timber - 70% of which is derived from the more naturally durable ‘redwoods'. We have invested more than £20m in this facility in recent years.
