Hi, I'm Adolfo, the EU Manager at Advocate Art. I graduated from Murcia University in Spain, with a degree in art history and received a post-graduate certificate in education from Valencia University. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of roles in the arts, including art handler, curator, and art advisor. As the EU Manager, I take care of Advocate Art's European and Latin American clients in children's publishing, toy and games, advertising, and more. I have had the opportunity to work on some fantastic projects, including the '3D Garden Puzzels', illustrated by Pedro Riquelme for Educa Borrás, which was selected by the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers as a finalist for the Best Toy for a Sustainable World.
Hi, I'm Alice, the lead agent for France for Advocate Art SL. I graduated from Emile Cohl's School of Arts in France with a degree in academic drawing, multimedia, and illustration. I first worked in the video game industry as a 2D and 3D artist before embracing the book industry as an author and illustrator. Since then, I have worked on dozens of children's books giving me inside knowledge on every step of creating a book, from knowing how to deal with all the stakeholders in the publishing chain to processing layouts, designs, narratives, or deadlines.
I have been collaborating with major publishers all around the world for decades, including some of the most famous French historical organizations such as Le ch teau de Versailles and the Gadagne Museum.
Additionally, I have spent the last 10 years teaching illustration and academic drawing at my former art school in France. This has given me the keys to efficiently assist artists and help them meet the requirements to make every project a successful one. Projects such as Teodora Orpea "seek and find" book with Hachette 2 coqs d'or "mon cherche et trouve géant à la maternelle". They used the cover of the book for Hachette's big stand at Bologna's book fair.
With a passion for new technologies, 3D, video games, concept art, board games, and books, I am keen on keeping an eye open for new forms of art, trends, and new talents!
I'm Amanda! I have been with the amazing Advocate team since 2016, I joined Advocate as a part time intern, and now 4 years later I'm proud to say I manage the team globally from NYC.
Hi, I'm Atlanta, Advocate's West Coast Manager. Having graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in both Art History and Studio Art, I have not only acquired a deep passion for art, but I have come to learn about its place in the current world. As an artist myself, I have coined a keen eye for successful design. In fact, one of my favorite things is to watch live art auctions as that is where I am able to foresee current and upcoming market trends. I was raised in a family of art lovers. In fact, I feel as though I am a natural agent as it runs in my blood. Both my mother and father worked as art advisors, appraisers, and sellers. Due to their involvement in the arts, I feel as though I was raised to work in this field alongside creatives.
Hey, I'm Erin! I am an Artist Agent, working out of the New York office. Before starting with Advocate Art, most of my work experience was in art Museums and Galleries. Being an artist myself, I wanted to work more closely with them and gain more experience in the commercial side of the industry. Since joining Advocate, I have had the opportunity to be a part of some wonderful projects, including Race to Kindness written by Orion Jean, Time's Kid of the Year in 2021 and 203, illustrated by Darshika Varma, and Raquela's Seder illustrated by Sara Ugolotti for Kar-Ben Publishing, which won the Sydney Taylor Book Award 2023.

Josh Cleland has been drawing humorous cartoons, illustrations, and characters since he was a little kid growing up in Hillsboro, a small town outside of Portland, Oregon. In 2009 he began his professional design/illustration career. Since then, he has had the pleasure of working with Highlights Magazine, Storytime, Cottage Door Press, Wonderbly, and more. Josh also enjoys creating character-driven art for licensing and other markets. Some of his recent illustrated children's books include "FRIDGE-OPOLIS", "THE END", "Chomp Chomp Dino", "Go, New York, Go!", "Trick-or-Treat Songs", and "Portland Baby". Kathryn Selbert is an award winning freelance illustrator and designer currently living in Montclair, New Jersey with her tea loving husband and grump y french bulldog, Margot. Kathryn spent her childhood drawing & gardening with her mother in a seaside town in Connecticut, USA. She then attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she learned to love narrative art and graduated with a BFA in Illustration. lynn Horrabin, a Yorkshire lass, was born in Bradford, west Yorkshire into an art-loving family. Painting and drawing was all she was really intereste d in as a child. After studying art then graphic design at Bradford Art College she joined a greeting card company where she worked her way up to the position of senior designer. She decided to go freelance in 2006 and has fortunately been kept pretty busy ever since. She‘s worked for a variety of different clients in the UK and abroad, from small independents to big high street brands and supermarkets. Her artwork has been used on greeting cards, ceramics and art prints, recently she has very much enjoyed illustrating children's books. Michael Buxton is a designer with over ten years' experience in the greetings card industry, producing best-selling ranges for clients like Clintons, Paperchase and Recycled Paper Greetings. Since becoming freelance, he's branched out into producing designs for t-shirts, homeware and books. In this time, he's had work selected for Threadless, Junique, Hot Topic and Disney, among many others. He produces quirky, fun designs with an emphasis on humour and while his work is mainly digital, he likes to keep a loose, hand-drawn feel. He loves to create characters and will take any chance he gets to draw monsters, cats or monster cats. Mike Byrne grew up on the Wirral near Liverpool before moving to Wales to study Illustration at Glyndŵr University. Vickie has a degree in illustration, but the majority of her career has been spent in design and project management for children's products, apparel and toys, working with both licensed and private label clients. She has a deep-seated love of illustration and is excited to help bring beautiful art to the world!
Vickie currently resides in the Hudson Valley, just outside NYC, with her two cats. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, long hikes, needle felting and spotting funky fashion around the city.
Hi, I'm Will! After completing my degree in Illustration at Kingston University I've had a varied career as an illustrator working in: Editorial, Architectural illustration for Foster and Partners, Children's book illustration, and even created a small design studio with some friends. Through working as a creative I realized how much I enjoy engaging and building relationships with my clients, which has naturally led me to become an illustration agent.
