Alison joined the team in 2017.
She trained as a chartered accountant in a small firm supporting many small and medium sized clients. Since then she has worked as a Finance Manager for Coca Cola Enterprise, gaining large company experience, through which she became skilled at developing effective processes and providing excellent management information to support business decision making.
Having set up and run a consultancy firm herself she also has real hands on experience of what it feels like to be the client as well as the professional.
Although she specialising in small to medium sized clients whatever the size of business you have, Alison will provide a very supportive service and a "can do" approach.
Amanda joined Winchester Bourne in 2016 with almost 8 years' experience in financial auditing. She worked for Deloittes as an external auditor for 5 years. She audited large organisations where she became accustomed to a very demanding commercial, financial environment. She then worked as an internal auditor in London for an international conglomerate company listed in Hong Kong.
She has an extensive academic and practical background in finance. She did her university studies in Business in Spain (BBA and BBS) and afterwards completed a Master's Degree in Audit and Business Analysis in 2006.
Amanda is a very adaptable person and has proven this with the wide range of companies with whom she has had experience during her career. These include Balfour Beatty, UPS, FL Smith, The Perfume Shop, Savers, 3 Mobile and the work was undertaken in many countries within Europe and also, America.
At Winchester Bourne, working as a Senior Accounts Manager, Amanda has a portfolio that includes managing several clients for whom we are the complete accounts department, this she combines with accounts preparation, tax planning and computations for a wide variety of companies.

Ayse was welcomed to Winchester Bourne in 2020, having previously worked in the outsourcing department of a large accounting firm that worked with a huge variety of clientele. Ayse has knowledge in many different business sectors from restaurants to bio medical. Ayse is fully accredited in Xero and can accomplish any task asked of her within Xero. Her expertise and personality make her a great deliverer of training for clients and she excels at report building and useful tasks such as customising invoicing.
She runs the day to day senior bookkeeping for many of Winchester Bourne's Xero clients already and has excelled in all areas. She is now building upon this with gaining experience of other software and developing expertise in management accounting, budgets and forecasting
Ayse has a happy and outgoing personality that is very noticeable upon meeting her, she takes life as she finds it, she adds personality without the jargon.
Ayse has a young and busy family life when not in the office and enjoys travels to far out places with adventure and exploration at its forefront.
Claire joined Winchester Bourne in 2005 & has a wealth of knowledge & experience in the financial sector. Her specialist area is financial accounting & she relishes reconciling accounts especially when it all matches up!
Being ACA (London) qualified & a Senior Accounts Manager with Winchester Bourne she has dealt with accounts preparation and advice for clients ranging from smaller sole traders through to our larger clients. She also manages a large assignment where we are the complete account department for a highly successful and rapidly expanding business.
Claire is renowned throughout the team for her exceptional technical abilities and her understanding and as a client said the other day "her ability to make you feel comfortable when discussing matters that are very complex".
Claire has a busy family life but manages to fit in the occasional meal out or trip to the cinema
Before joining Winchester Bourne at the beginning of 2019 Esther had already gained 18 years experience of working in practice looking after SMEs.

Jane has worked for Winchester Bourne since 2003.
In that time, she has held the positions of Account Manager, Office Manager and is currently PA to the Managing Director.
Her role also incorporates managing many out-sourced payrolls where her knowledge and experience is vast and providing accounts administration support working with clients using Sage and Xero.
Jane Roberts has been with Winchester Bourne since 1998, previously working for Rentokil as their Southern Region Financial Controller.
Jane is passionate about providing a high quality of personal and professional service to our clients.
Whilst Winchester Bourne also provides the full accounts department service Jane specialises in monthly Management Accounts production. She has a diverse portfolio of clients and a spectrum of experience working with both larger businesses & charities, providing a wealth of knowledge & ensuring total confidentiality.
Her knowledge and experience in successfully outsourcing the accounts department is second to none! Her ability to build strong lasting relationships with her clients and their staff is outstanding.
Jane has a busy work and social life and winds down by taking long walks with her dog through the wonderful British countryside.

Jo joined Winchester Bourne in 2015 after a few years working for a charity in Eastleigh as their Management Accountant.
Previous experience covers working in small practices in Newcastle upon Tyne and near Reading plus a stint in Industry for Thames Water plc.
Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 after obtaining a BSc in Mathematics from Durham University. Jo loves nothing more than either turning a pile of messy receipts into a neat and referenced file with an accompanying balanced ledger or reconciling very complicated accounts and her clients are delighted that she does!
Jo also provides excellent training sessions in QuickBooks and has come to the rescue of many a person for whom QuickBooks has proved to be not as easy for them as they expected!
Jo is also the Auto-enrolment Manager for Winchester Bourne looking after many clients and advising them and guiding them through the administrative processes entailed in the potential minefield of enrolling your employees. She is highly knowledgeable and capable in this area but has an unassuming, friendly and helpful way of working which our clients, old and new, appreciate greatly.
Even outside of work Jo completes book keeping on her days off for Scouts and the local Parish Hall (busman's holiday!)

Julia joined Winchester Bourne in 2016 from a broad base of commercial experience.
Julia qualified as an ACA with a "big four" firm in 1991 and also holds professional qualifications in procurement and marketing. She has fulfilled finance, marketing and procurement based managerial roles for blue chip companies and latterly in the public sector.
Since joining Winchester Bourne Julia has specialised in integrating cloud accounting solutions into the services that we offer as a firm, taking on many new clients working with Xero software, ensuring that this is set up properly to ensure it is utilised to the maximum benefit of the client.
Julia manages a wide ranging and ever growing, portfolio of clients for Winchester Bourne.
Julia is a qualified yoga instructor, teaching classes in the local community alongside her role at Winchester Bourne. She enjoys hiking, biking and wild swimming in the great outdoors when not in the office or yoga studio.
Nicola joined Winchester Bourne in 2015 from a background in management and financial accounts within the marine industry.
She was previously a Senior Finance Manager for Sunsail and Financial Controller for Alex Thomson Racing.
Nicola's knowledge of the travel industry and its compliance is second to none and she leads on one of our larger management accounting assignments where she can utilise all her knowledge and skills.
Nicola has been ACMA qualified since 2003 and also specialises in year-end accounts for small to medium sized clients. She has a logical, methodical approach and high level of attention to detail, working with Sage and Xero based clients she is also a whizz with excel spreadsheets!
Outside of the working environment Nicola plays hockey for Fareham in the Hampshire league and manages two junior hockey teams.
Nicola also enjoys sailing, surfing, windsurfing and walking.
Nicole joined Winchester Bourne in 2017 having worked as a Business & Financial Analyst at BAe, a Financial Manager at De La Rue and the Financial Controller for a management consultancy firm.
Since joining Winchester Bourne Nicole has championed GDPR not only for Winchester Bourne but as an offering for clients and new customers alike struggling through the bureaucratic minefield.
She is also currently working to develop Winchester Bourne's offering regarding Making Tax Digital and analysing the impact this will have on any of Winchester Bourne's clients particularly where Vat will be reported under MTD from April 2019.
Nicole has excellent payroll knowledge and manages several of Winchester Bourne's clients' monthly payrolls.
Whilst her tenacious spirit enables her to add real value for our clients, whether providing systems overviews, getting involved in the brass tacks or applying an intelligent mind to accounting problems and solving them she remains very sensible and calm in her approach.
Nicole is also fully accredited in Xero.
Hobbies/interests: include the gym (or in her words…well - eating cake after coming home from the gym!), going to the cinema, and travelling.
Rachel is now in her 4th year of working with Winchester Bourne.
Rachel as the Office Manager and provides office management support to our busy team of accountants.

Susan has a wide range of experience in bookkeeping, business administration, credit management and customer services.
She has worked with in various sectors including retail, hotels and hospitality, construction, advertising, local government and health and well-being for both private and corporate companies from large blue-chip companies to small family businesses.
Since joining Winchester Bourne Susan has also extended her experience to working with cloud-based accounting systems, in particular XERO.
Susan now works with several clients directly, providing them with advice and support directly with their bookkeeping in XERO.
Susan thoroughly enjoys working with our clients and shows a very keen interest in their businesses. She also provides excellent support to her colleagues at Winchester Bourne, in particular the Senior Account Managers.
Susan's interests outside of work include, travel, learning Spanish, Yoga & wellbeing, spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
