I would describe myself as a hard working family man who enjoys getting to know and meet people both on a business and personal level.
I'm approaching my 4th year in Recruitment and like most people I fell into Recruitment. I saw the bright lights when reading Recruitment Job Descriptions and landed my first job in Recruitment 1 month after graduating.
Throughout my Recruitment career, I've seen the good, bad and ugly, and I always focus on providing an honest and transparent service for my clients and candidates. If you scan through LinkedIn or just see what people type in on google about Recruitment Consultants, you can see the public perceptions of Recruiters is quite negative, so one by one, with Netsource's support, I'm looking to change that perception with the people that I deal with.

I started in IT & Telecoms industry in London in 1988. In those days, voice communications, fledgling data communications, networking and IT were all very separate entities. The skills technical skills required by our clients were very different to those of today, but the principles of good recruitment and service provision remain the same.
Netsource taught me everything I know about Recruitment back in 2002, my second job out of university and after spending a few very happy years here I needed to move due to relocation. After my move I spent seven successful years with a small boutique headhunting agency and then three living on a golf course in South Africa, running my own consultancy assisting organisations both in the UK and South Africa with their resourcing needs. On my return to the UK there was only one company I wanted to come back to and that was Netsource…the rest is history! I have been back now since the beginning of 2013 and sunk my teeth into a few different roles, focusing now on looking after our Public Sector business via the Digital Marketplace.

I have a varied background within IT over many years, including many aspects of sales, administration and finance and currently occupy the role of Finance Manager here at Netsource. I joined back in 1996 shortly after the inception of the company and have worked closely with Nick Paul.
In the early years of Netsource, I was responsible for setting up many of the systems and procedures, some of which we still use today. I keep an eye on the recruitment industry's ever changing legal responsibilities and assist all our recruitment consultants to ensure the company's compliance with the law. Also, as members of the REC, it's important to keep everyone "in the know" about such subjects as IR35, AWR and Conduct of Employment Agencies Regulations.
I joined back in 1996 shortly after the inception of the company and have worked closely with Nick Paul.
When I'm not at work, I'm usually being a mum-taxi for my daughter who takes part in lots of dancing and drama classes as well as cheerleading competitions all over the UK. I dabble in a bit of singing with my local Pantomime company. I love to unwind by pottering around at home with my 3 cats, doing a bit of gardening.
