EOTHEN HOMES - Key Persons
Barbara joined the company in 1999 and was promoted to the Finance Manager role in 2001. She is responsible for all aspects of the company finances.
Christina joined Eothen in 2018. She started working in care when she was 15 years old as a Care Assistant and then progressed to a Care Home Manager. Over the last 15 years she has managed different services caring for elderly residents. She ensures all Eothen homes are compliant with regulation standards to achieve the best possible care.
Our Wallsend dementia care home manager, Christine Henderson joined Eothen in 1999 and became a home manager in 2011 and she is passionate about dementia care and will ensure our model of care, values and ethos is embedded and delivered. Christine will greet you with a warm welcome and a smile and will be happy to provide further information or show you around the facilities we offer.

Dawn joined Eothen in 2018 managing our Whitey Bay home for three years having previously being employed as a Trainer and Assessor in Health and Social Care. She joined the Head Office team in 2022 as Training and Development Manager and ensures we have a well trained staff team. Dawn is also responsible for developing a culture of research and excellence within Eothen.
Deborah joined Eothen in 2017 and is responsible for purchasing all items.
Lisa has a wealth of experience in caring for older people and joined the Eothen family in 2009. Lisa became a Home Manager in 2017 and manages our home in Whitley Bay, providing the best quality of care for our residents in a happy and loving family environment.
Louise is a Registered Nurse and joined the Eothen family in 2023. Her NHS experience includes Orthopaedics and Accident and Emergency. Louise will promote the Charities Ethos and Values and support staff and residents at the home. She will use her skills and knowledge to ensure high standards of care are achieved and make a real difference to those who live and work at our Gosforth home.

Jenny is a registered nurse and has worked for Eothen since 1993, becoming Chief Executive in 1997. She ensures that the aims and objectives of the charity are met and will always aim to exceed the high standard and excellent reputation already achieved. She also ensures that the organisation maintains viability for the future and plans future strategy and development.
Recruitment and retention of staff is a challenging role which requires a dedicated and innovative approach. Natalia is a perfect fit for this role, having previously being employed as a senior carer at our specialist dementia care home, and has first hand experience of working in residential care. Natalia has achieved CIPD level 3, and is keen to progress further in Recruitment and Human Resources.
Sandra joined Eothen in 2016 and provides administration support for Head Office and the homes and ensures the smooth running of the office.
