Elizabeth Fitzsimmons

Job Titles:
  • Head of Art and Design at Alderman Newtons Grammar School
  • Partner, Lead Designer
After acquiring a first from Leicester University Elizabeth worked for a design company in Central London for 4 years - designing for clients such as Tricia Guild (now Designers Guild), Colefax & Fowler, Liberties of London, the Dorchester Hotel, and many more - gaining a wealth of experience and contacts along the way. In Leicester, Liz became the head of art and design at Alderman Newtons grammar school for 4 years. Shortly after, she founded Harlequin Interiors with Robin Sinclair in 1976. She has worked on a plethora of projects with Robin, with the pair always bringing enthusiasm and a flair for colour and an eclectic style in order to create both an individual and exciting interior for the client.

Georgia Gray

Georgia joined Harlequin in 2019 as a trainee Interior Designer alongside studying for her degree. She specialises in designing bespoke furniture, creating concept visuals, and bringing our client's ideas to life.

Lewis Bernaudon

Lewis joined Harlequin in 2021. With a degree in Journalism and a masters in PR & Media, he works in sales and social media inside of our showroom.

Robin Sinclair

Job Titles:
  • Partner, Designer, Product Researcher
Robin obtained his degree from Warwick University, going on to teach at Alderman Newtons Grammar school for three years. Shortly after meeting Elizabeth Fitzsimmons, the pair founded Harlequin Interiors in 1976. Since then, he has worked on many renowned projects, designing interiors with a classic style, and has a particular love for specialist fabrics and furniture. He often has an eye for sourcing new and exciting specialist products for use in the showroom and with client projects, whilst also looking out for the most interesting and innovative pieces to entice the prospective client
