Emily Morgan

Emily began working for Hot Property Films as the Infomercials Producer on BRAND NEW-U and continues to work for the company as a Producer. Previously, Emily spent time in distribution for Optimum Releasing and has also worked for The Bureau, Steel Mill Pictures and Partizan. She is the Production Executive on Film London's Shorts Scheme and has produced award-winning short films including Gabriel Gauchet's THE MASS OF MEN and Claire Oakley's PHYSICS. In 2012 Emily received a John Brabourne Award. She is a graduate of the National Film and Television School Producing MA and has taken part in schemes such as the Berlinale Talent Campus, Think-Shoot-Distribute, SOS and MEDIA Four Corners.

Janine Marmot

Hot Property was set up in 1995 by the critically acclaimed award-winning producer Janine Marmot. Two films produced by Janine have won a BAFTA, Bodysong, (Simon Pummell), and Kelly + Victor, (Kieran Evans). The company specialises in films and transmedia projects where the narrative content is strengthened by a strong visual realisation. Films produced by Janine Marmot have won awards at festivals around the world. She is a visiting tutor for M.A. students at the London Film School and other Universities and was Director of Film at Skillset from 2007 until March 2009, key in developing Training Strategies for UK Film and responsible for an annual budget of £7million. Her feature credits as Producer include Simon Pummell's IDENTICALS, distributed by Samuel Goldwyn and BAFTA and BIFA winning feature documentary BODYSONG, and SHOCK HEAD SOUL; Michael Whyte's PRIEST, NO GREATER LOVE and LOOKING FOR LIGHT, INSTITUTE BENJAMENTA by The Brothers Quay; I COULD READ THE SKY by Nichola Bruce; and the multi directed film MADE IN HEAVEN for the rock band QUEEN and the BFI. She has also produced documentaries and short drama working with directors including Tom Shankland, Jim Gillespie, Chantal Akerman and Christopher Petit and produced the workshop with Palme d'Or winning director Abbas Kiarostami with Channel Four.

Michael Whyte

Michael Whyte is a film and television director whose work includes documentary and drama. As well as directing films he has written several screenplays, notably Catherine, winner of two international awards. His CV is distinguished for its range and quality. Apart from producing and directing some of the most innovative documentaries on television he has worked with the best writers in their field including Kazuo Ishiguro, Stephen Poliakoff, John Byrne, Lynda La Plante, Shelagh Delaney, Peter Flannery and Deborah Moggach. His awards include the Prix Italia and Press Guild Winner for ‘Creggan', Chicago International Film Festival Gold Medal for ‘A Profile of Arthur J. Mason', Special Jury Award, San Francisco Film Festival and winner of Prix Europa award for ‘Catherine', Bafta nomination and winner of The Royal Television Society Award best series for ‘Blind Justice', Winner Umbria Festival, Best film, Best Actor, Best Music for ‘The Railway Station Man'. He directed the acclaimed six episode Your Cheatin' Heart by John Byrne which was screened at the Edinburgh Film Festival as a one day event.

Simon Pummell

Identicals (previously known as Brand New-U) is Simon Pummell's first narrative feature film. Identicals has been picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films in the US, New Select in Japan and Arrow in the UK. Simon is best known for directing the BAFTA and BIFA winning documentary feature film Bodysong (2003) that Time magazine described as "an utterly mesmerizing and humbling portrait of humanity." It was the first film to be scored by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead and in 2010 was re-released as a British Film Institute Collectors Edition DVD & book.
