Following leaving College in the Summer of 1985, Craig joined Movac's Norwich branch where he progressed through various positions within the business, taking a particular interest in the new and exciting Industrial product area Movac were expanding into. From 1989, he took a more direct role with the Industrial Division business as a Sales Executive covering Norfolk and Suffolk, gaining new customers with the high technology coatings that we are able to offer, this proved extremely successful and from 1998 he took over control of the Industrial Division. Craig is a Movac Board member and head of the field based industrial sales force. With the emphasis on technical knowledge and ability, he is proud that Movac's Industrial Division is now supplying thousands of customers across the UK and into Europe, bringing tangible benefits to these peoples businesses.

Daniel Godfrey

Dan started in the industry in 2014 working in an industrial paint shop manufacturing colours in wood and metal paint products, including stains, topcoats, etc. helping to develop a knowledge of products and processes. From here he progressed into deliveries and warehouse interacting with customers before quickly progressing to become Branch Manager. After relocating from Norfolk to Kent he moved into sales becoming a protective and marine area Sales Representative for the South of England. Dan later moved to the application side of the industry developing business for a large powder coater and building the company's business to incorporate wet paint spraying and intumescent coatings before joining Movac. Dan's enthusiasm and want to ensure great service for his customers is a valuable asset to his customer base both current and future.

David Hutchison

Before joining Movac, David was employed as a paint shop technical assistant for a main Ford dealership rising to the position of paint shop supervisor. Prior to this, he spent six years as a member of HM Forces. David joined Movac in October 1996 and during this period has held various roles within the company. His initial 6 years were depot based, starting as a warehouse relief driver then rising to the position of depot supervisor, learning more about the products and gaining an invaluable insight into the business and its customers, before moving into sales. For the first 5 years of his sales career he worked as a Technical Sales Representative on the Industrial Wood Finish Division. In 2007, David took the role of leading Sales Executive at Movac's newest industrial metal finishes division, Vernicci and in November 2013 was promoted to Metal Finish Sales Manager. Since joining Movac, David has watched the company grow from strength to strength and is extremely proud to be part of such a successful company. In November 2016 David became Industrial Sales Manager.

John Charles

Since joining Movac in 1997, John has worked as an Automotive Finishes Sales Executive covering South Essex from the Romford branch. Prior to Movac, John spent 6 years as a Paint Department Manager with one of the national distributors, before being promoted to the position of Paint Sales Representative. He fast-tracked through the Dana Management Course and subsequently moved into a Manager role at one of their new branches. In his own words, John has spent "35 glorious years" in the Automotive paint industry, with 16 of these years with Movac, a company dedicated to providing quality in product, sales and customer service throughout.

Jonathan Dearsley

Following a part time job at a paint manufacturer whilst studying business at College Jon began working for a prestigious kitchen company, with a large share in the London property market, as a trainee paint sprayer and found something that he really enjoyed. Over several years he worked with many products including Acid Cat, Solvent and Water Based stain, Polyurethane and Water Based primers, Polyester, Polyurethane and Acrylic topcoat, Water Based glass coatings and a variety of special finishes working to the highest levels of quality. After developing his career to Sprayshop Supervisor he decided that it was time to progress and was excited at the chance to join Movac Group Ltd and to be a part of the excellent service, which he received as a customer, while sharing the skills and experience he has gained over his years in production.

Justine Hurley

Justine joined Movac having previously been employed as the Bursar for an Independent Prep School in Ipswich. Justine is an accomplished senior HR executive and gained Chartered membership of the CIPD in April 2019. Justine provides a dynamic outlook on HR and people and recognises that no one solution fits all businesses. Justine's proven dedication to optimising organisations success through her acute knowledge of human resource operations and strategies contributes immensely to the success of Movac Group Ltd. Justine enjoys working with the Management Team in delivering a high performance HR service which enables Movac to attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive work environment.

Karl Patmore

Karl joined Movac as Group Key Account Manager in November 2021 to look after our key accounts as part of a national role and has now migrated to the role of Sales & Marketing Officer and is very much looking forward to the challenge. Responsible for maintaining customer service levels to ensure they receive the highest level of reporting & support services within the industry. Achieving this through personalised core stock profiles, looking into repair costs and new technologies which will help improve their efficiencies. I started my career in the motor trade from leaving school aged 16 in 1989 gaining various mechanical & management qualifications along the way, then moving into the body side of the business in 2001. I have experience working for both repairer & distribution companies which helps give me a good understanding and working knowledge of the business. Karl is looking forward to the challenge of working with Movac and helping the continued growth of the business through hard work, honesty, enthusiasm and above all putting the customers first.

Mark Bailey

Mark's career began at 17 working for a kitchen manufacturer as an apprentice cabinet maker. On his first day he was placed in the factory's Finishing Department and "never let out", and subsequently spent the next few years here learning to use traditional finishes such as pre cat & acid cured lacquers, stains and patinas. He then moved to join a family owned joinery shop running their Finishing Department, gaining extensive experience in exterior joinery coatings and polyurethane products, glazing and working on sites fitting finished work, educating him in joinery manufacturing and providing an invaluable insight into the construction industry which he still finds of benefit today. In 2002 Mark set up his own workshop offering wood finishing solutions to local joinery shops, utilising his vast experiences and skills in a varied work environment. In 2007, Mark decided to change career and move into sales. Working for Movac was definitely his first choice as they had been his No.1 supplier over 17 years. Mark covers most of Suffolk and some of Essex including Colchester, Maldon, Braintree & Southend, maintaining and growing the Wood Finish division. He says his work is highly rewarding and enjoys being part of an ever expanding team and is confident his career will continue to develop along with the company and embraces the fact that he is still learning every single day from products and customers.

Mark Cutter

Mark started his career as a Welder, having completed a four-year apprenticeship with the REME. Afterwards, he spent time on the oil rigs of the Yarmouth coast and within the automotive industry installing production line jigs and fixtures. He then moved onto a Sales Position at Yartoft Welding Supplies and worked with Sait Abrasives for the last 20 years. During his time, he was awarded 'Rep Of The Year' seven times and was put in charge of New Reps and Exhibitions.

Michael Harrison

Before joining Movac, Michael spent three years employed by a local family-owned narrow boat manufacturer working on all aspects of boat building - from fitting out empty steel shells to customers' specification, down to the final details of varnishing and painting the boats. He then moved onto the luxury yacht industry where he spent a further two years in the manufacturing sector honing his skillset. He joined Movac in 2010 as a stores person and it was not long before he was given the opportunity to move into the paint production section, where he built up very strong paint and stain matching capabilities. To become more involved with the customer service aspects of the business, Michael progressed to the position of Relief Supervisor/Buyer for the Peterborough branch. Michael is excited to now be part of the Industrial Sales Team at Movac and is looking forward to meeting new people and building up strong customer relationships along the way. He is extremely proud of his progression within Movac and feels his extensive experience within the company and of the Movac product ranges will give him all the tools he needs for the exciting future ahead.

Michael Rudd

Before his career began at Movac, Michael attended East Bergholt High School, Colchester, Essex, from 1995-2000. He joined Movac's head office aged 17, in December 2000 as an Office Junior where he remained for just over 2 years before progressing into the role of Buyer/Trainee Supervisor, then within the same year, moved up to Branch Supervisor level. After successfully supervising his team and the Ipswich sales for a number of years, Michael's duties migrated across to specific Movac branches, training new supervisors and ensuring their systems ran to the Movac standard. His greatest achievement came in the Summer of 2013 after supporting Nottingham to raise their standards in all aspects of branch duties. This lead to Michael's promotion to Operations Manager South in October 2013 and in February 2019, he took over all seven depots. Michael is extremely proud of his career progression within Movac and attributes this success to his values of a hard work ethic and having the right attitude, which is a reflection of the core standards applied by Movac at all levels. Michael looks forward to developing his career further as Quality Manager for the Movac Group.

Paul Blakesley

Paul started his career in 1989 for a privately owned body shop in Chelmsford, through the next 10 years he learned many skills within the vehicle accident repair trade, specialising as a paint technician. In 1999 Paul wanted to challenge himself to work for a main dealership and started work with a Ford Dealership Dovercourt/Lookers and was there for 12 years. In that time became a Ford Master Technician and a Senior ATA Paint Technician.

Robert Lang

Robert's accounting career began in London in 1989 as a British Rail Payroll Administrator. By 1996, after various accounting positions and firms, reaching mid-management level, he progressed from Financial Accountant to Financial Controller. After gearing the successful sale and integration of this particular company with another professional services company for FTSE 100 clients, Robert's career changed direction into the media sector as Group Financial Controller for part of a group of 5 companies, where his part in their floatation on AIM, generated over £20M of new capital. He then moved to Head of Operations before moving on to assist in the start up of a new group as Head of Finance & Operations. After 20 years in the City of London, Robert joined Movac in 2010, overseeing the company's financial position, offering a new dimension to the Management Team and bringing Movac's IT infrastructure into a new phase and maintaining financial and operational commitments to staff and customers. He embraces being part of a fantastic company and looks forward to the future successes he knows Movac will achieve.

Scott Bull

After a varied career working in a car body shop, record store, IT and as a driving instructor Scott joined Movac in November 2013, initially as a Branch Assistant before progressing to Buyer, Relief Branch Supervisor and then Branch Manager in 2019. During this time Scott has gained product knowledge and customer relations skills that will stand him in good stead for the Industrial Sales Executive role. Scott is looking forward to putting faces to names, meeting new customers, and seeing the Reading Branch continue to grow, along with Movac as a whole in the years ahead.

Steve Turney

Steve has worked in the refinish industry since 1988 when he joined independent refinish distributor Willow Wholesale, where he effectively progressed his career from Driver to Stores, Paint Mixer, and Sales Office to Sales Representative. In 1998 following Movac's purchase of Willow, his roles continued to evolve from Regional Sales Manager to Movac's Cambridge Branch Manager. In 2010, Steve's career changed direction again when he became Supplier Liaison Manager, enabling him to utilise his industry experience and product knowledge gained from various roles and important business contacts over a 24 year period. Steve's focus is creating and developing strong relationships with Movac's chosen supply partners and to purchase premium products at competitive prices, achieving successful mutual growth for both parties. He heralds Movac's success is due to its business expertise, staff knowledge and strong customer and supplier relationships.

Stuart Bullingham

My previous role before joining Movac was working in Abrasive Shot Blasting . The company was a market leader in the industry sector of highly refined Mineral and Metallic Abrasives. This provided support to critical defence, aerospace, nuclear and medical customers. Before this, I had over 14 years of sales experience working in Industrial Abrasives Coated and Bonded. Dealing direct with End Users and supply to Distribution. Engaging with existing and potential new business. During my career in Abrasives I have worked in many diverse industries such as: Fabrication, Metal Finishing, Foundries, Powder Coating, Metal Spraying, Joinery, Furniture Manufacturing, Marine and Automotive. I am looking forward to meeting a new team and sharing my knowledge to grow the business in 2021 and the future.

His heart has always been in sales, which he believes is driven by excellent service and customer relationships.
