Aaron supports ambitious management teams across the North East and Scotland, helping them to realise their growth ambitions with the support of a private equity partner.
Aaron joined LDC in 2022, he has previously supported a range of ambitious, fast-growing businesses across a range of sectors throughout the UK. Aaron sits on the board at Mandata.
Prior to joining LDC, Aaron had 15 years' experience across private equity/venture capital and corporate banking, supporting the growth of scale-up to mid-market businesses across all sectors. Aaron is a passionate technologist having invested into a number of IT software, hardware, infrastructure and services businesses.
After graduating from the University of Northumbria with a degree in Business Finance, Aaron had a successful career in Corporate & Institutional Banking for over 10 years before joining NVM Private Equity and the Northern VCTs, becoming an Investment Partner for the fund, investing nationally and responsible for c£0.5bn funds under management.
Alex works across LDC's national portfolio, supporting the firm's ongoing ESG programme, which is embedded throughout the lifecycle of its partnerships, from the initial investment through to exit. He is also helping LDC to pursue its own ESG commitments.
Alex joined LDC in 2022 from Deloitte where he spent 10 years in the company's ESG Advisory practice. There, he developed extensive experience helping businesses to develop ESG strategies and understand, track and clearly communicate their performance to stakeholders.
Alex holds a BA in Geography from The University of Oxford.
Alex oversees LDC's tax function, working with the investment and portfolio teams on prospective investments, tax considerations relevant to portfolio companies and exit transactions.
Before joining LDC, Alex was lead tax counsel at the central bank of Norway, which manages Norway's Government Pension Fund Global, invested in 9,000+ companies around the world. Prior to that Alex was part of the tax team at law firm Latham & Watkins, advising private equity funds, corporates, sovereign investors and financial institutions.
Alex trained as a lawyer at Hogan Lovells, is a graduate of the law school at Nottingham Trent University and holds a BA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.

Alex joined LDC at the start of 2023 on a one year secondment from Lloyds Bank. Since joining, Alex has supported the minority investment in tech enabled legal services company, The Barrister Group.
Prior to joining LDC, Alex was an Associate Director within Lloyd's Leveraged Finance business. He has spent the last three years executing several large and mid-cap private equity backed transactions across a broad range of sectors, including industrials, TMT, healthcare and business services. Before joining the Leveraged Finance team, Alex was a Relationship Manager covering Global Corporate clients in the Consumer & Healthcare Sector.
Alex graduated from Exeter University where he studied Philosophy and Politics before joining the Lloyds graduate scheme in 2015. Whilst on the graduate scheme, Alex undertook various role across real estate, oil & gas and secondary loan sales as well as becoming a CFA Charterholder.

Alex joined LDC in 2021 from mid-market private equity firm Next Wave Partners where he supported new investments and worked with portfolio company management teams across sectors including Media Services, Transport & Logistics, Property Services and Consumer. Alex previously held a portfolio company financial management role with Maris, an investment holding company focused on Sub-Saharan Africa; and began his career at PwC in Audit and Transaction Services, conducting financial due diligence for transactions primarily in the Business Services, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
Alex read Modern History and Politics at St Anne's College, University of Oxford and is a chartered accountant.

Ana-Maria works with ambitious management teams across Yorkshire, helping them to realise their ambitions for growth with the support of a private equity partner.
Ana-Maria joined LDC in 2022 after having spent almost three years in leveraged finance with Lloyds Bank where she focused on mid-market private equity-backed transactions across a broad range of sectors, including TMT, healthcare and industrials.
Ana-Maria also held roles in the wider Commercial Banking division of Lloyds Bank, working in the SME and Mid-Market relationship teams, as well as in restructuring.
Ana-Maria graduated from Oxford Brookes University and is a CIMA qualified accountant. Outside work, Ana-Maria enjoys travelling and is a keen tennis player.

Andrew joined the Value Creation Partners in 2020 with responsibility for supply chain and procurement across LDC's portfolio companies.
Andrew has 17 years' experience in private equity-backed procurement roles including his most recent role with Bridgepoint/Pepco Services where Andrew supported a large investment portfolio. He has extensive experience of working with mid-market investment management teams to identify supply chain opportunities and lead the delivery of solutions which drive significant EBITDA improvement as well as support business growth.
Prior to Bridgepoint/PEPCO, Andrew held senior procurement roles at BAA and CEVA Logistics.
Andy is a member of the LDC's Portfolio Team, working directly with management teams to help create value and drive growth. Alongside this, Andy is responsible for the co-ordination of The LDC Network, through which we seek to broaden and deepen our extensive relationships with Non-Executive Directors and Chairs.
Andy joined LDC in 2012, working initially in Finance, before joining the Portfolio Team in 2018. He is a standing member of LDC's Valuation and Portfolio Committees.
Andy has worked across a number of LDC investments, spanning a broad range of sectors including tech, data analytics, retail, food, industrials and leisure. Andy is a graduate of the University of Birmingham, is a Chartered Accountant and has an MBA from Aston University.
Andy is LDC's IT manager and is responsible for ensuring the IT support function is optimised.
Andy has over 25 years of experience within the IT industry mainly focused on systems installations and management. He has worked across numerous sectors including local Government, construction and financial services.
Andy re-joined LDC in 2023, having previously worked at the company for nine years.
Andy enjoys engaging with his child's activities and spectating rugby.
