Aaron puts his years' experience in customers service into practice and who through honest service has build great relationships with his clients and candidates alike Out of work hours, Aaron is kept busy with his young family who defiantly keep him on his toes!

Caroline James

Caroline works in our Accounts & Payroll Team and has been working for Abacus since 2010. Caroline works diligently and efficiently to ensure that our agency workers are paid correctly and on time. Caroline possesses a keen eye for detail and computer systems in particular Excel & Sage packages. Caroline is a qualified Accountant and Personal Trainer.

Catia Martins

Job Titles:

Catia has spent a number of years within the NHS and has a lot of experience as a temporary worker - this is so valuable to us because she understands how important it is to provide a professional and caring service to our workers. Catia will be looking after one of our largest clients - Home Bargains, as well as supporting all our other lovely customers within the Salisbury area. Catia is fluent in Portuguese and her warm and friendly nature has already made her really popular with our clients and candidates. We are lucky to have her onboard!

Charlotte Bareham

Charlotte joined Abacus Employment 16th January 2023 as our Newbury Branch Administrator, previously having worked in Customer Service Administration for 2 years. Charlotte is very friendly and approachable; she is fantastic with all of our candidates that come in to register and ensures the branch is kept fully compliant.

Chris Addis - Managing Director

Chris is our Managing Director and has been with Abacus since 1999. Prior to Abacus, Chris worked for one of the largest Recruitment Companies in the UK and has extensive industry experience. Chris has ensured that our core corporate strategies and vision is embedded throughout our processes and promotes an ethos of being an approachable, responsible, and ethical recruiter. He loves sport and is heavily involved in running a golf society that has raised thousands of pounds for St Michaels Hospice and Prostrate Cancer UK.

Clare Fuller

Clare is our joint longest serving employee and works in our Accounts & Payroll Team and has been working for Abacus both front office and back office since 1994. Clare works diligently and efficiently to ensure that our agency workers are paid correctly and on time. Clare has extensive knowledge of Accounting legislation and processes including Sage packages.

Colette McCoy

Colette joined Abacus in 2013 as an Administrator in our Basingstoke branch. Over time Colette proved herself to be a diligent and reliable employee and took promotion to Driving Consultant in 2015. Colette is extremely knowledgeable on everything Driving and Logistics.

Dennis Fuller - Chairman

Chairman and founder of Abacus. Established in 1991 the business has grown into a multi-million pound organisation that boasts a network of offices. Prior to starting the business Dennis worked for many years as an agency worker and has always instilled the value of being a fair and approachable employer.

Jaimie Harwood

Jaimie originally started at Abacus as a temporary employee aged 19 becoming permanent with us in 2000 and has been with the company since. Over the years Jaimie has worked in our Basingstoke, Camberley and Newbury branches as well as supporting our Accounts department for periods. Promoted to Branch Manager of our Basingstoke office in 2013 - it is now our highest fee producing office! Jaimie become a mother in 2011 and away from work loves spending quality time with her son who we are told is a budding golfer!

Jason Fuller - CFO

Jason joined Abacus in 1995 as a Consultant in our Camberley Office, before moving on to become Branch Manager of our Newbury office. After several years of running the Newbury Office was promoted to a Senior Management role and has since worked across all of our Cost Centres. He has now been our Finance Director for the past 10 years. With 26 years of experience covering both front and back office operations he has an excellent understanding of the recruitment industry. Happily married father of two. A keen guitarist and bad golfer in his spare time.

Jenna Whittle

Jenna joined Abacus as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in 2003. She is now the HR & Quality Manager responsible for all aspects of HR, employee engagement/well-being and compliance. Jenna holds CIPD L5, is our DPO, Mental Health First Aider and has a Lead Auditor qualification and works closely with our corporate affiliations -REC, GLAA, ALP, RRT, Stronger Together and Sedex).

Libby is a member of our Newbury Branch working in an Office Support role. Libby is responsible for one of the biggest clients in Newbury. Prior to working for Abacus Libby worked as a qualified Veterinary Nurse for three years.

Matt Houghton

Matt joined Abacus in 2015 as a Consultant and after spending several years managing our largest account, he was promoted to Branch Manager of our Andover office in 2020, he is now also responsible for our Salisbury office. Nothing is too much trouble for Matt. His caring attitude towards his staff and passion for providing an honest service for his clients and candidates has seen the office go from strength to strength. They are regarded as the ‘Go To' agency in Andover and Salisbury if you are looking for Industrial or Distribution work. Prior to Abacus Matt studied Product Design at University and worked for a year within the Product Design industry.

Naomi Lincoln-Ohrstrand

Prior to working for Abacus, Naomi was a Store Manager of a large Super Market chain for a year and a half. Naomi possesses high levels of interpersonal and organisational skills and is well liked by our clients, agency workers and colleagues alike. Out of work, Naomi is a mechanic enthusiast and spends her time restoring a Porsche 911 and modifying her much loved Fiesta. Naomi is also undertaking evening classes at a local college in Mechanics with the aim of fulfilling her passion for all thinks mechanics as a career.

Peter Johnson - COO

Focused on delivering excellent recruitment solutions that are tailored to your individual needs. Peter is our joint longest serving member of staff having joined Abacus as far back as 1994!. He is the Operations Director. Peter has extensive knowledge of the Recruitment Industry including the Engineering and Distribution sector. Peter's commitment to employee engagement, equality and diversity supports corporate values and makes Abacus an employer of choice. If he isn't working, then Pete will be involved in sport and particularly football in one way or another. He has been involved in grassroots football for over 7 years coaching and managing at local youth level football team, a lifelong Liverpool fan and still get his boots on each week to play the game he loves.

Phil James

With over 30 years' experience in Finance, Phil is the man who holds our purse strings and oversees the day to day back office functions for Abacus. He has worked with Abacus for the past 8 years on various projects and took on the Finance Manager role in early 2020. Whilst keeping things controlled and ensuring our processes are robust, Phil also brings a commercial view to finance, working closely with our clients to ensure that we can offer the credit required to support their business. Outside of work Phil is a long suffering Arsenal fan!
