ABCH - Key Persons
David started working for Barkham Church after seven years in the Ministry of Defence. He is married to Lisa, and they have one daughter. David has particular responsibility for our evening congregation which meets on Sundays at 6pm.
Ed joined Arborfield Church in 2016 before moving with the plant - Church@TheGreen - in 2017. In recent years he has contributed to CTG by playing the Piano and helping out with children's activities, and in January 2020 he joined the Church Eldership. Ed lives in Arborfield Green with his wife Kate and their two children, and he works as a Maths Teacher in Sonning.
James has been a member of CTG since it formed in 2017 after moving from Arborfield Church. He lives in Arborfield Green with his wife Alyssa and three children. James works for a startup medical devices company. He enjoys good food and is (too!) fussy about his coffee.
Michael joined Barkham church in 2000 when work brought him to the area. After a career in IT software with Fujitsu, Michael took redundancy in 2009. He was keen to give more time to the church in both ministry and administrative roles and subsequently joined the Barkham leadership team. Michael is married to Rose and they have two married sons.
Piers came to faith in Jesus whilst working in property development in Sydney in his 20s. After theological training in Sydney and Oxford, a curacy on Merseyside and 4 years working for the Proclamation Trust, Piers was appointed Rector of Arborfield and Barkham in 1998. Piers and his wife Carolyn have three adult children and three grandchildren.
