Anand is a proven supply chain thought-leader and business-model evangelist; a visionary and deep business thinker with an ability to deliver long-term strategic value... Anand holds the honorary position of Visiting Research Fellow at the 'triple crown' accredited Aston Business School. Here, Anand is researching the subject of Supply Chain Resilience in an increasing Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) world. His research interests include (but are not limited to); Urban logistics, micro-distribution and micro-fulfilment, Automation and Artificial Intelligence, and more generally the future of global and local distribution practices... Passionate about sustainability and the circular economy; Anand has worked closely alongside some of the UKs leading retailers to pioneer and dovetail bespoke return waste solutions; coupling outbound distribution with the scheduled pickup of packaging Cardboard and LDPE plastic waste in order to divert its passage to landfill.
