GARDEN COACH HOUSE

The main house, Ashfield Farmhouse was build a little later and now hosts a bed and breakfast... Old roses and honeysuckle ramble the thick stone walls of the beautifully refurnished Garden Coach-House which nestles in lovely countryside, in the Welsh/English borderlands. It lies on the edge of Maesbury village just 1 mile from the market town of Oswestry and about 15/20 minutes from Shrewsbury, Llangollen & Welshpool and just 30 mins south of Chester... The Garden Coach-House first saw the light of day way back in the 1500s and was the original dwelling place and right up to until 1955 an old gent actually lived in the grooms room above the stabling.
