Dr. Heger currently serves as the general manager of finance and investment and as an independent senior advisor for S.I.F. International Holding S.A., Luxembourg at its representative office in Vienna. Irene is the Chief of Staff and is responsible for developing and implementing an HR strategy that is in line with the strategy, vision and mission of the Bank.
She joined the Bank in 2002 as a Management Trainee and then worked as a Business Banker in a Retail branch until September 2004. After that, she served as a Corporate Relationship Officer in the Corporate Banking Centre 2 in Limassol until December 2010, before serving as a Human Resource Business Patner in the Limassol Region between 2011 to February 2014. From March 2014 until June 2016, Irene was the Regional Manager of Corporate Arrears Management Units in Limassol. Finally, from July 2016 until August 2019, she was appointed as the Manager of Corporate Banking Centre 2 Limassol.
Irene holds a BSc in Mathematics and Business Studies from Warwick University, UK and an MSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School of City University London.

Katia holds the position of Chief Legal Officer and Company secretary since July and November 2014, respectively.
Prior to joining the Bank of Cyprus PLC, Katia was a Senior Recoveries Officer at Pireaus Bank (Cyprus) Ltd from November 2013 to June 2014. She was also part-time lecturer of the University of Nicosia on Cyprus banking law.
Before that, Katia worked as Barrister with P.L. Cacoyiannis and Co., law firm in Limassol for a year, before joining the Cyprus Development Bank PCL in October 1991 where she first worked as internal legal adviser, and then, from March 2003 to June 2013, as Manager of the Legal Unit (Banking Division). From January 2010 until June 2013, she also headed the Loans Administration Department while from January 2012 until June 2013, she was head of the Recoveries Department of the Cyprus Development Bank.
Katia is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and a member of the Bar of England and Wales.
She holds an LL.B. from the University of Reading and is a Barrister-at-Law, as well as a member of Gray's Inn since 1989.

Louis holds the position of Executive Director Insurance Business and leads the Insurance Companies of the Group.
Previously, Louis held the position of Director International Banking, Wealth & Markets from April 2016 to August 2019, being in charge of the Bank's International Banking and the Wealth & Markets Divisions, as well as the Shipping Centre.
Prior to that, Louis was Director International Banking Services from 2013 to March 2016.
Before being appointed to this role, Louis was Manager of Private Banking and Wealth Management, setting up the Divisions in Cyprus in 1995 and in Greece in 1996. He also held the position of General Manager of the Cyprus Investment and Securities Corporation Ltd (CISCO).
Prior to the Bank of Cyprus, Louis worked at Price Waterhouse in London between 1989 and 1992, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Louis also holds a Bachelor degree with first class honors in Economics with Accountancy from Loughborough University, UK. He is also a member of British Mensa.
He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Genikes Insurance and Eurolife and the Chairman of the Group's Disciplinary Commitee.

Michalis has been Corporate Affairs Director at Bank of Cyprus since 2015.
He worked as a correspondent for the Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones from 2011 to 2014, and as Head Editor for Economy and Finance at Kathimerini newspaper (Cyprus edition) from 2009 to 2014. From 2005 to 2009 he was Head of Research (Presidential campaign) and Parliamentary staffer (European Parliament) for Mr Ioannis Kasoulides.
Michalis was also co-founder of Intelanco Bespoke Analysis (2012-2014), worked as an analyst for the Institute of World Politics (2005), and provided political support to Mr. George Vassiliou, the Chief Negotiator for Cyprus' accession to the European Union.
Michalis sits on the Board of Directors of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre and on the Board of Directors of the BoC Cultural Foundation.
He earned his BA in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA in 2002, and went on to earn an MA in International Economics and European Studies from John Hopkins University, Maryland, USA in 2005.

Mr. Arapoglou is an expert financial consultant. He has served as Chairman and CEO of the National Bank of Greece Group, Chairman of the Hellenic Banks Association, Member of the Board of Eurobank and has held senior management positions with Citibank and Chase Manhattan in the UK and with American Express in Greece. Currently, Mr. Arapoglou is Chairman of the Board of Titan Cement, an international cement company listed on Euronext N.V. Brussels and of Tsakos Energy Navigation, a shipping company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He has extensive experience in international capital markets and in corporate, commercial and investment banking in South East Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Panicos Nicolaou currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. He previously served as the Director of Corporate Banking Division from June 2016 until August 2019, during which he had under his supervision Corporate Banking Centres throughout Cyprus, the International Corporate Banking Centre and International Operations, as well as the Bank's Factoring Unit. He joined the Bank in 2001. Prior to becoming a Director of Corporate Banking, he served as Manager in the Restructuring and Recoveries Division where he managed a large portfolio of corporate delinquent clients.
Mr. Nicolaou holds a diploma (5-year degree) in Mechanical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (Metsovio Polytechnic), Greece and an MSc in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He also holds a BSc in Financial Services from the School of Management, UMIST, UK.

Eliza studied Economics at the University of Cambridge (MA Hons) on a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust scholarship. Between 1995-1999, she worked for the audit firm Arthur Andersen in Cambridge UK, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant having obtained the prizes 1st in Order of Merit at Intermediate level and 7th in Order of Merit at Final level. In 1999 she returned to Cyprus and has been employed by Bank of Cyprus, initially as Assistant to the Group Chief General Manager and since 2005 as Manager Group Finance and Tax Planning. In 2012 her duties were extended to include Group Strategy and Corporate Finance.
In December 2013, she was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and in April 2016 as Finance Director. In October 2021 she was appointed as executive member of the Board of Directors of Bank of Cyprus.
She is a member of Trustees of the Bank of Cyprus Medical Foundation since January 2020 and of the Cyprus Oncology Centre since February 2021. Eliza is also a member of the ICAEW Banking Committee since March 2021. In the past she served as member of the Financial Services Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus during 2006-2018 and she chaired the Committee during 2014-2016. In September 2020 Eliza was awarded the CFO of the Year Award.

Stelios was appointed as Acting Chief Information Officer in October 20021. In his role, he is responsible for the design and monitoring of the implementation of the Information Security Program at the Group level.
He joined the Bank of Cyprus in August 2020 as the Governance Manager under the CIO function. Prior to joining the Bank and from November 2016 to August 2020, Stelios held the position of the Global Chief Information Security Officer for a large multinational BPO services company (Tek Experts Global Ltd) and was responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the global Information/Cyber Security Strategy and program of the company. Before that, Stelios worked at KPMG Cyprus from 2005 until 2016, where, from 2012 he held the position of Director and led the Information Protection and Business Resilience Advisory Services, managing and delivering information and cyber security engagements for clients in different countries and industries with a focus on Banking Government and Telecommunications.
He holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from Warwick University UK, and an MBA from Warwick Business School UK. He is a PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner and Certified Information System Manager.
