Barton Place Farms is a family partnership business, farming approximately 2000 acres of land in West Suffolk, some of which is owned, some rented and some contract farmed. All our land is irrigated... We strive to grow quality produce in an environmentally friendly way. We are members of quality assurance schemes ACCS, Assured Produce and LEAF and the environmental land stewardship schemes ELS and HLS. We also manage 30 hectares of woodland... We have a substantial vegetable growing operation. We grow approximately 300 acres of potatoes for pre-packing and 200 acres of onions, which are dried and cured on site and graded for use by supermarket packers.
