Introduction: 'Bryce of Crieff' is a family run shoe shop, located at 27 High Street, Crieff, Perthshire PH7 3HU, in the heart of Scotland (approx. 18 miles west of Perth, 22 miles north of Stirling and 50 miles from Edinburgh and Glasgow). History: The family shoe business started ninety years ago, in 1918, when a young man named Joseph Bryce, excused from active service in World War I, due to only having one leg, moved to Crieff as a cobbler. He lost no time in setting himself up in a small shop in King Street, marrying and starting a family. At the end of World War II, his second son John (known as 'Jack') returned from duty to join the business.
