FIRE FIGHTERS CHARITY

We operate from 27 fire stations, which vary in status from being staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, to being completely on-call, where firefighters are available day and night and are alerted to emergencies by a pager. The Service's headquarters is located in Huntingdon, with the chief officer team, combined fire control room and many of our support staff being based there... The charity closest to our heart is The Fire Fighters Charity. Firefighters and their families need support - whether to recover from injury or trauma, or to deal with bereavement and other problems. The Fire Fighters Charity supports serving firefighters and retired firefighters, fire service personnel and their dependants... We are always seeking feedback about how we can improve the service we offer to everyone in the community.
