We also keep in touch with one another by phone, WhatsApp and our Facebook Group where we can chat and where we post links to our service content. It is a private group, so we can share personal information and prayer requests, but all who worship with us, or have done so in recent times are welcome to join - just search Carey Baptist Church - Preston in "groups" and ask to join... We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance and we support the work of the BMS and Tearfund in their overseas mission and development work... Services in church are now looking almost like normal again. It is no longer necessary to book in advance and we are able to sing again in worship and to have tea and coffee after the service. We are however, still encouraging worshippers to sanitise their hands on entering the building and to wear a mask unless exempt. The chairs are still laid out in distanced blocks but people are welcome to move them to sit with people..
