Welcome to the Clare White Gallery - where we celebrate the work of acclaimed St Ives water colourist Clare White (1903 -1997). Please explore this website to find out more about the artist's life and work; view her original paintings; and find out about exhibitions we have planned in galleries and at art shows around the country. Our aim is to share our passion and appreciation for White's characterful and accomplished work and champion her place in English art history and in the 21st century art market... The Clare White gallery was opened in 2007 but since 2011 it has been an online gallery only, with occasional touring exhibitions in different parts of the UK.
